Anthropic and OpenAI are far ahead with high quality data right now. The more people use their models, the better the feedback data they get. The only thing that will limit their long term success is lack of energy for training and inference, unless they team up on energy projects. It will be like the Hunger Games by the end of next year.
English

@IamEmily2050 Yup, but Anthropic's partnership with Amazon could be a dark horse. OpenAI has a lot of commitments, but their partners aren't moving at the speed required by OAI.

I’ve been using Anthropic’s new Agent Teams in Claude Code with Opus 4.6 for a bit now and… it’s honestly wild.
One lead AI agent delegates work to multiple specialized agents focused on research, debugging, and building, all running in parallel instead of step by step.
As a developer, I can now operate like I have an AI engineering team handling frontend, backend, and testing at the same time, while I stay focused on architecture and direction.
Hard to imagine going back after this 🚀

Claude Code now supports agent teams (in research preview) Instead of a single agent working through a task sequentially, a lead agent can delegate to multiple teammates that work in parallel to research, debug, and build while coordinating with each other. Try it out today by enabling agent teams in your settings.json!

@nikunj @GeminiApp Gemini model is good 💯 but you're missing the point. It's Claude code + opus 4.5. And when you use it with max subscription, no need to look at opus price tag. Just try it.

Claude Code gang is going to realize how goated @GeminiApp Flash 3.0 is in a few months..
For the price, size of the context window, speed AND capabilities, I really don’t think anything comes close.
Google absolutely cooked on that model 🔥

@IamEmily2050 @deepseek_ai doesn't miss January. Start a new year with a bang.

BREAKING: @elonmusk 's xAI has bought an 5 additional 380MW of natural gas turbines from South Korea's Doosan Enerbility. The first two units are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026. This will power an additional 600,000+ GB200 NVL72 equivalent size cluster (or 350,000 + VR200 NVL144 equivalent size cluster). @rpoo @elonmusk @BrentM_SpaceX is singluar in terms of their abitily to build the absolute largest datacenter in the world, nobody else run as fast as them.

We will. It usually takes time for real change to appear in real life, as measured by lagging indicators. The adoption rate among coders actually paying for tools like claude code and claude api is a leading indicator that it's winning in one sector. Also, fixing legacy systems takes time. Anthropic is definitely a leader, but impact compounds over time, and others are not far behind. Grok and Gemini will catch up soon.

This feels like ChatGPT wants to become a super app. Reminds me of @sama saying

OpenAI@OpenAI
Group chats in ChatGPT are now piloting in Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, and Taiwan. A new way to collaborate with friends, family, or coworkers and ChatGPT in the same conversation.
