There's no scene, dialogue, or musical cue that lives in my head rent-free. Everything pays for its stay by obliterating some useful bit of math or geography.

@BlighttownNIMBY @NRanak65543 Magic demon clown who stalks and kills kids. In the beginning of the scene, look at the curly-haired kid in shorts on the right. At 30 seconds in, he bends down, and we can see the clown hiding in the mural behind them, when he wasn't there earlier.

@NRanak65543 I haven't seen the movie, what am I supposed to be looking at?

well I'll be damned that's pretty clever

@Chunky_Milk____ Cause the guy who posted it gets like half a penny or something for every reply.

@JShooke Well, should at least narrow down which part of town to begin your search.
English

@bornposting That said, the bit where he wants to exploit Pruitt Taylor Vince's visions and convinces him to take off the charm that protects him from them is note-perfect John.
English

@bornposting It's a very rare case of an adaptation being so off that they might as well have made it a new character...but that new character being interesting enough that I remain onboard despite it.
English

@alicemoodyy The "For You" section is just an instigator.
It's like Morpheus trying to convince me to be the Neo of telling people their opinions are dogshit.

begging the algorithm to please stop subjecting me to utter stupidity on my “for you” page. this is not “for me.” in any way shape or form.

I finally watched trap and I can’t even ethically log it on letterboxd like that is not a movie
English

@lorxell Because the makers of the show knew exactly how to make sure people talked about Thragg for weeks after the episode.
English

@DucDeVinny Obviously a new child actor for Dewey would be needed, but somebody should legitimately make this. Call them Mark and Derry but otherwise have them act exactly like the Breaking Bad/Malcolm characters.
English

I'd watch a comedy movie with both of them having misadventures and learning a heartfelt life lesson in the end

@VincentEternal9 Ehhhhh..."first half" and "really good" are both a stretch. But yes, it started out with a lot more creative merit before being co-opted by the marketing team and becoming the poster child for event-driven garbage.
English

Twitter doesn’t want you to know this but the clone saga first half is actually really good and had a pretty clear direction on what it wanted to be. You can actually see in real time when they just start artificially extending the story and spinning their wheels for sales.

When someone says they're a Spider-Man fan and you gotta figure out if they're a real deal lover of pre #300 Amazing Spider-Man or a clone saga larper

@TheStorrman @bornposting Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely never suggest Statham, I just thought it was funny that Graham played kind of a Chas role in Snatch.
English

@SeanWhitmore @bornposting Eh, I’d rather have someone actually from Merseyside
But if it was Statham, better get a wig on that man cause I ain’t having Constantine bald
English

@TheStorrman @bornposting Jason Statham as John, Steven Graham as Chas.
"Chas, mate, need you to nip on down the campsite an' steal us a caravan."
"John, are you mental? The pikeys will rip me apart!"
"Travellers, mate, they're called Travellers now."
English

@bornposting If he grew out his hair and had it dyed, I’d love to see Stephen Graham play Constantine.

@turmalindraws Dewey: "The baby says turn around."
*Pregnant Skyler turns and sees Walt trying to sneak past her holding a catoonishly large stack of money*

"Can you please put mike on the phone. How did gus die?"
"Walt blew up his face. Here, Dewey knows more about it than I do"

@bornposting That's one of the only criticisms of the Keanu movie that annoyed me, people treating the trench coat like it was part of his superhero outfit or something.
I was like, "Read the Delano run, man, he didn't always wear it. It wasn't always cold out."

It being Guillermo saying “make the Hutt have sick abs” clears things up a lot
