@pete_biggs You can create the code on the device you want to link. It is on the premium page -> create link code. Note: iOS is not on version 2.0 yet, so you cannot link devices on iOS yet! This is coming soon though.

@ShadowWeather Excited for v2.0 and being able to share the joy 🥳 However, I can't for the life of me work out how to link another device! Where do I get the six digit code from please? Nothing in help and I've googled but no joy - I'm stumped 🪵

@jonathanroomer @EwanToo Quick clarification, the subscription is $10.99/year for new subscribers nowadays; but there are also many more features now and the app is much more refined than it was! Anyone can also get a full refund if they are not satisfied for the previous year.

Has anybody found a replacement weather app for #DarkSky ? All I want is a simple UX and no subscription, happy for one time purchase.

@LelandMulcahy Hi, You can filter notifications by editing the location (pencil icon on the locations page), then tapping edit next to alert notification filter. Then uncheck the ones you do not want to receive!

@ShadowWeather How can I stop getting all of the 'small craft advisory ' notifications? I don't go out on small crafts, or large ones, and never will.

@blukuk Hi, 132 was a broken release (widgets caused crashes) to fix another issue. Now the latest version is 133 on all Android devices which fixes both issues!

@ShadowWeather Hi, just updated to 1.15.0 and that's fine so is 132 in beta? Android user, pixel 6 android 13.

Incident report: version 132 of the android app crashes when you use home screen widgets. I have submitted a fix for review to Google. You can temporarily work around this issue by removing Shadow Weather widgets.

Due to Hurricane Ian, all Shadow Weather features will be available for everyone until 2022-10-5. Active on Android; Working on iOS release...

@dr_bff Hi, You should be able to get the notification back by changing its priority under Android Settings -> Apps -> Shadow Weather -> Notifications -> Notification Categories (Or Ongoing Notification) -> Ongoing notification. Then make sure minimize is off. Email if you need help!

@ShadowWeather Cleared my data and got everything set up but the one thing I can't seem to get back is the temp in the notification bar. I'm on Android. When I pull down, there's a notification card, but I love that temp in the bar all the time!

Releasing a hot fix asap. Clearing app data (not cache) will still resolve the issue now; otherwise I expect google play to get hot fix in less than a day. unsure about how long iOS will take due to limited experience with them.

@WharfRatJustin I have had another report of lagging on the pixel 6 pro phone. It is possible this phone has a performance characteristic that no other phone has. No one else has reported this issue, only a pixel 6 pro. Please email me so we can keep a thread to make sure this gets fixed.

@ShadowWeather Do you any current problems? My app just keeps telling me that it's loading the weather but nothing happens.

Downtime report: from about 4 to 6pm UTC 2021-11-12; the authentication server was down due to no disk space. The issue is resolved and being monitored.

@raymonddevoe Critical bug when working on backend changes caused bad data to be sent to the client, which the client could not deal with and saved to disk. Clearing data is the only way to delete the data saved to disk that was corrupted.

@ShadowWeather Why was this required? Now all the settings and saved locations are gone, as expected by clearing the data.
