As we are learning DeepSeek is one of the most sophisticated psyops of all time.
Here's how it went down:
1) Release the model open source.
2) Include highly detailed papers for all other people to replicate your work.
3) Create a novel SOTA RL algo that uses less memory and bandwidth than PPO and release it absolutely free so anyone can copy it for their own work.
4) Make sure it's super easy to fine tune so that others can easily SFT out any local law abiding answers about Tiannamen in about half a day for $50 in compute.
5) Cackle while saying muahhahaha you can only run it on our servers. Oh wait actually you can run it on any hardware you want, fine tune it, replicate our entire method on your own models, which lifts up the entire research community.
Truly one of the most dastardly and sophisticated plans to come out of China in a long time!

@gregisenberg Was his brain slowing down or did he just forget how to activate it?

Just had a fascinating lunch with a 22-year-old Stanford grad. Smart kid. Perfect resume. Something felt off though.
He kept pausing mid-sentence, searching for words. Not complex words - basic ones. Like his brain was buffering.
Finally asked if he was okay. His response floored me.
"Sometimes I forget words now. I'm so used to having ChatGPT complete my thoughts that when it's not there, my brain feels... slower."
He'd been using AI for everything. Writing, thinking, communication. It had become his external brain. And now his internal one was getting weaker.
Made me think about calculators. Remember how teachers said we needed to learn math because "you won't always have a calculator"? They were wrong about that.
But maybe they were right about something deeper.
We're running the first large-scale experiment on human cognition. What happens when an entire generation outsources their thinking?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m beyond excited about what AI and AI agents will do for people in the same way that I was excited in 2009 when the App Store was launched.
But thinking out loud you got to think this guy I met with isn't the onnnnnly one that's going to be completely dependent on AI.

🚀 The Rise of AI Agents in Business Growth
AI isn’t the future—it’s now, and it’s transforming the way businesses operate. I’m Onur Ibrahim from Commino, and here’s what I’m seeing in real-time:
✅ AI Agents Handling the Heavy Lifting
Content creation, social media management, and email marketing? 100% AI.
Lead generation? AI pulls LinkedIn data, builds contact-rich profiles, and automates outreach.
Financial analysis? AI spots anomalies and trends in minutes—work that used to take humans weeks.
⚙️ Where AI Still Falls Short
Integrating AI seamlessly across platforms (like ChatGPT posting to Facebook) isn’t enterprise-ready yet.
Overusing AI for content risks splitting audiences and faces challenges like Google’s AI content penalties.
💡 The Real Impact
While AI won’t fully replace entire teams (yet), it’s driving 50% efficiency gains in tasks like analysis, content creation, and marketing. We’re halfway there, and the potential is huge.
If you’re curious about how AI agents can optimise your processes, let’s talk. Drop me a message or book a call. I’d love to share what’s working and help you get ahead of the curve.

Great thread, and you’ve nailed it—the potential for AI agents to shake up the growth game for startups is huge. That said, they’re not quite there yet. In my experience, I’m getting about 40–60% of the way there with current AI tools, depending on the task. Here’s how I’m using them: AI edits my videos and creates social media copy that fits perfectly. For example, yesterday’s post was entirely AI-generated, and tomorrow’s will be too. It handles my analytics, highlighting trends and opportunities, and even tackles financial analysis, like breaking down balance sheets. For posting, tools like Double and Claude agents help automate content deployment across platforms. The tricky part? Integrating AI with real-world devices—that’s the gap I’m focused on bridging. Once that’s sorted, the ecosystem will truly click into place. We’re moving fast towards the fully automated growth stack, but it’s not quite ready to replace a whole team just yet. The gap’s closing, though, and it’s an exciting time to be in the game. Let’s go!

the next wave of startups won't launch with marketing teams
they'll launch with AI agents running everything 24/7 - from content to acquisition to analytics.
this isn't future talk. quietly there are founders who are printing with growth ai agents right now (but they won't tweet about it).
imagine your acquisition agent runs 50 meme accounts simultaneously, testing hooks across different niches, generating 1000 posts daily until it finds what hits.
your research agent analyzes 100k tweets per hour, finding unmet needs and feature requests that no one's building for.
your content agent creates 200 unique hooks daily across X, linkedin, and tiktok, learning from each response, optimizing for what works.
your community agent welcomes every new user personally, handles support tickets in seconds, and turns feedback into feature priorities.
your SEO agent generates 500 pages of perfect content daily, while your ads agent tests 1000 creative variations across platforms, automatically killing what doesn't work. we already use this at @boringmarketer
your email agent writes and tests 50 different sequences, personalizing every message based on user behavior. your analytics agent spots trends before humans could, adjusting strategy in real-time.
the growth stack becomes fully automated, working 24/7. you get the idea.
you pay per result.
what previously required 20 people and $2M in salary now happens automatically with $2k in agent costs. one founder becomes as powerful as a funded startup. customer acquisition becomes predictable.
growth becomes systematic.
winners will be whoever has access to the best agent stack first, whoever has the taste to listen to the right signals and whoever can find the right niche at the right time.
fun to think about because you can see it already start to happen.
game on.

Prediction (from our own experience building AI Agents): within the next 24 months, AI Agents will achieve higher CSAT scores than human teams for first line customer support.
Over both voice calls and live chat.
This will be for 90% of businesses - the only exception will be premium goods and services.
Plus, they'll become cheaper and easier to build, making them a "must have" for the majority of businesses.
Having an AI Agent will be like having a website in the 2000s.
