Paywall cheat code: The 3-Screen Trial Close
Don't put your trial terms in the fine print. Break it into three separate, less aggressive 'paywall priming' screens:
Screen 1: "We want you to Try this for free"
Screen 2: "We’ll remind you before the trial ends"
Screen 3: "Unlock everything now" Make the user feel safe to convert. (this is the only actual paywall screen)
Builds a ton of trust with any user hesitating about your free trial

@thekitze Not an unpopular one at all, people have been begging for it since it came out.

Having tried the Meta Display glasses, I’m not convinced that a visual overlay interface is the right direction.
The overlay sits in your field of view and pulls attention away from the real world. Once you lock onto the visuals, everything else effectively fades out. Your focus becomes fully absorbed by the UI, and you’re no longer really seeing what’s around you.
At that point, it isn’t meaningfully different from using a phone. The difference is that the interface is now in front of your eyes, partially blocking your vision, and you can’t easily “look away” while it’s still present.
Take navigation as an example. It feels far more natural to raise your wrist and glance at a smartwatch than to keep checking a corner overlay in your glasses.

Please make an app for finding healthy restaurant @bryan_johnson
Dining out without eating garbage is an incredibly hard task. Nearly every restaurant in all countries except maybe Japan is adding lots of extra sugar into it and everything is deep fried.
And nobody seems to care.

Is this a joke?
A major app claiming to help you find healthy restaurants showing the most obvious worst kind of processed junk food in their screenshots.

@HyperTechInvest If NVDA wanted, they can do this easily. It’s about killing serious competitors

@AntiLeftMemes The Oldest House. The building has always been there. Before any of us can remember.

@jmtrivedi This is what we get when coding becomes so cheap and fast

@tunguz I’ve heard they will also make their own fusion power plants.

@nummanthinks Is it much slower in most actions on average with that?

@leerob The article provides absolutely zero details on how this was done or any transferable insights for other developers.
It just describes what tech stack cursor.com uses and what they wanted to do.

I migrated cursor.com from a CMS to raw code and Markdown.
I had estimated it would take a few weeks, but was able to finish the migration in three days with $260 in tokens and hundreds of agents.
Here's how I did it + all my my usage stats.
