This assumes either:
-women aren’t autonomous and don’t make decisions for themselves about how to live.
-women don’t have autonomy as to where they work…plenty of companies give much more leave than this.
-or both.

American women can only stay with their babies for 6 weeks before they must return to work. This policy was lobbied by Nestle so that American women are forced to buy formula and don't rely on their own breast milk to feed their babies. The American government works for corporations, not their people & until this system dismantles, people aren't going to have babies. This is just common sense.

"Europe tried that": I genuinely think, due to cultural differences, European family policies would lead to higher birth rates in US.
If I'm wrong, then it would result in a society with slightly lower birth rates but less child poverty and high social mobility. Also fine by me

The #Commanders did not draft a cornerback, a fairly significant need in any reasonable view. Should not be surprising. Told u all week this could happen at either WR or CB. Happened last year with EDGE. They didn't draft anyone in a deep class/major need and paid for it.
