I am more excited than ever for this new opportunity for my family and I, which is bittersweet of course. Last, I have made great friends and started long lasting collaborations through this platform. As this is likely my last Tweet, I thank you all and wish everyone the best!

Some might say yes, but I believe you have to trust your gut and bet on yourself sometimes to truly be happy. I have learned many lessons as a professor and PI and I am eternally grateful for the effort of students and scientists from my lab.

In less than 2 weeks I will shut the doors to my lab for the last time and start an entirely new career. I am very thankful for my time at Virginia Tech and @vtbiochem where I received great support and had amazing colleagues. Is it scary leaving a tenured position? 🧵
