@toptargets You can look at it in different ways. Baller league don't have to contact the Non League teams, it's the players and the teams who wanted them who should have asked the Non League clubs for permission.

Don't like Ballers League but do have sympathy for these lads & never nice to see players having contracts terminated. I blame the Ballers League & those behind it. Could have done things the right way but theres been a complete lack of respect for clubs and Non League football.

@puffpuff65 @Deanzey @YouYeltz They wasn't plucked in. A new league was being formed around the same time Hashtag applied to join the Non League pyramid and was placed in that new division which had teams mainly London, Essex and Suffolk so they never took the place of another team.

@Deanzey @YouYeltz The biggest factor for me was they never earned their way into the National league system (step 6) they were plucked out of Sunday league 💰 and put straight in. Should’ve earned their right to play at step 6 by earning promotion from the Essex Olympian league 10 years ago

Absolutely pathetic. Opening statement says there was no budget that drew people in. I watched you play Step 6 football with players capable of playing step 3/4, blasting teams for fun and making a mockery of clubs that have been establised for over 100 years. Promotion after promotion, all as a result of having more cash than anyone else and turning non league footballers into martyrs, pimping themselves out to the highest bidder. And now you talk about not being able to compete with clubs on a budget. There are hundreds of clubs up and down the country, many with years and years of history, and crucially, an actual home ground. But they are repeatedly shunned for the sake of £50 and the chance to play football in someone else's home ground. And until the FA do something about all of the "new" clubs flocking into non league football with just a wide eyed owner and a YouTube handle, with no ground, no following, no history and no proper plan for sustainability, we will keep seeing it happen over and over and over again. Zero sympathy from me. Sorry.

@markstu01653264 @Everyone @hashtagutd At first when I heard the strongest of the rumours I felt angry about it but looking at it with a fresh mind. It was either stay in the division and financial combust or reset by dropping a division and start building for the future with the new stadium

1/2 @everyone. For all the haters out there, that like to put our club down (@hashtagutd ) and slag our supporters off, u can do kiss my ass. I’ve been a supporter of this club since 2019, and will continue to do so. We are going through a tough time, but we will bounce bk 🫶#

City get deducted 60 points meaning Spurs stay up. But hands Arsenal the title. Do we take that 👀

To those trying to moan about this decision, I’d rather see the club continue for over 100 years than go bust within 2. You will not find a more honest and open club than these guys, they’ve got my backing and I hope that the true fans get behind this too. 1/2

@thenonleagues @Deanzey The impression I got, we are investing in the ground which must mean we might working something out. I guess we have to wait till the club release the video which should explain everything.

@Nashyphoto So very true! It feels awful at the moment as it is still raw but when you look at the bigger picture it could be the making of something special

In the midst of all the social media glare are some fine folk working full time for the club who care as much as anyone, a superb squad and staff amd a dedicated band of supporters. For all of you I hope the long term gain outweighs the short term hurt.

@Deanzey 2/2 All the grounds that they have shared with didn`t include the bar, refreshment/burger bar where they could make money on. Attendances have been poor and the new ground is an opportunity to build the club up. If it means taking a step back to move forward then I`m all for it.

@Deanzey The club has never had big budgets for players. If anything they`ve been over achieving based on their player budget. They have improved attendances of clubs they have played away to. The new season they have a stadium that they can build the club up on. 1/2

@cfcbenyu @lewismeechan67 @hashtagutd One of the biggest problems for us we was groundsharing and not getting anything back from the bar, food etc so now we have our new stadium we will have a much more better income to build on

@lewismeechan67 @hashtagutd Potentially, personally as someone who supports a team in the same division (hamlet) it was never sustainable, they didn't have the crowds in person and likely never will. Young fans grow up and stop.going and ultimately losing just lowers their views. Club always had a ceiling

@hashtagutd @SpencerOwen Mad world we live in where a club choosing to safeguard its future and do the right thing by its players and staff is derided. Should be applauded for not following the crowd and chasing the impossible dream at eye watering cost 👏🏽

@BillyCove10 @IsthmianLeague @dean_bha Bill I honestly don’t think any reasoning can make amends The past and present players thought effortlessly every season to rise this club The fans that travel all the miles to support the club surely must feel let down If anything the statement should explain the reason

@SpencerOwen @hashtagutd I understand totally but a lot of the fans do feel they have been let down by the lack of updates. I know how much goes into running a club you are damned if you do and damned if you dont when it comes to situations like this It didnt help that so much was being spread online

Staement from @hashtagutd will be out imminently explaining the news. What seems unusual now will all become clear in time. Change is uncomfortable, but that's doesn't mean it's bad. Up the tags.

@SpencerOwen @hashtagutd Not sure I've read this right - so you're stepping down a league because staying where you are would require risky spending, and you'd rather build a sustainable, long-term future—even if it means dropping a level now? What happens if you gain promotion again in 26/27?

@SpencerOwen @hashtagutd I know running a football club is hard, I get earache from my mate who is a fixture sectretary of a club in the Essex Olympian league so I know some of what goes on and fans do judge and have a right to judge and make their opinions heard especially with how much they go to games

@SpencerOwen @hashtagutd Gutted about the situation but sometimes taking a step back isnt such a bad thing mate in the long term providing everything is in place so the clubs finances are not compromised
