🚨SlowMist TI Alert🚨 💸 Loss: 14.411518807585587 ETH 🔍 Root Cause: Storage slot collision between `ATOHook.rewards` mapping slot and Solady `ReentrancyGuard` fixed slot (`0x02215292eb9609279094554c6e223f800950648ddfa3da30329838d6c170928d`). The `nonReentrant` modifier in `getReward()` writes sentinel value `0xffffffffffffff` to the guard slot, which is simultaneously read as `rewards[attackContract]` due to the collision. @llamaonthebrink @econoar @Polymarket The important thing is just for the outcomes to be good and make sense. Given the nature of UMA resolution (ie a bunch of random token holders w/confused interests), Polymarket will always have these issues that HL won’t necessarily since there are fewer + more legitimate

UMA’s token-voting model is structurally broken. Whales weaponize ambiguous rules to resolve @Polymarket markets incorrectly and save their own positions.
Zero legitimacy remains until deterministic settlement replaces it. This is exactly what Hyperliquid fixes with HIP-4.

Polymarket just produced a market for whether the Zcash bug had been exploited in the wild.
We created the same market yesterday.

Before the hidden clarification was published for “MSTR sells BTC by May 31st,” it was clear to me that Polymarket’s resolution would contradict the outcome one way or another.
Which gave me thought:
What if @Trueo_ creates contracts for whether Polymarket resolutions end up conflicting with their original rules?
This could be a pretty useful tool for Poly users so they don’t get scammed, and an elegant way to onboard them to our app.

Personally I think YES buyers are in for a ride. The wording in this contract leaves a ton of room for interpretation, and I have little faith in Polymarket’s resolution system. Just another example of a prediction being as weak as its oracle.
