@Darrah_Smith @OJEN_ROEJ Tiny homes are cost efficient. The person living in the tiny home can work while having a shelter to go back to. If they eventually gain enough money then they can move on to buying a home. However, for now they need a dignified, safe place to live. @OJEN_ROEJ #ojenroejsp22

@WMTDebatePro @OJEN_ROEJ I like the idea of tiny homes, but at the same time the funding to execute this would be expensive, to me, it looks like one tiny home per person and that would take many years to complete as there are hundreds of homeless people in Hamilton.

Homeless people deserve a better solution than a park where there are numerous safety concerns We need more job opportunities (for economic growth), free education, and health care (mental and physical) Canada can do more for their charter rights than letting them live in parks.

The very reason why we have tent encampments it's because of a wrongdoing of the system. If people aren't able to feel safe in homeless shelters, where else are they meant to go. In 2016, 37 people were attacked and died in homeless shelters. (1/4) @OJEN_ROEJ #OJENROEJSP22
