In Charter Challenge, each student team researches & writes a factum with legal arguments in favour of the appellant or respondent. The teams with the best factum for each side are invited to make their arguments at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. More: ojen.ca/en/program/cha…

However case law supports the existing legislation. Judicial interpretations of the law supports the restrictions of tent encampments.
