Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day. 400 of them are now worth over $100 million. These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries. Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000. Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous." The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before. Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.

@RohdeAli Yes, I created my own database to retrieve faster answers to solve issues I would have had to get a consult for. now I’m not panicked for hitting my quotas and can work at a healthier pace. Not to mention my robots save me so much time by doing chores so I can focus on my garden

Emma Watson reveals Hollywood broke her “I came to work looking for friendship and that was a very painful experience for me outside of Harry Potter and in Hollywood. Like bone-breakingly painful” “Most people don't come to those environments looking for friendships. They're looking for this is my chance, this is my role, this is what I want out of it” “I found the rejection really painful. The friendship rejection. I took that expectation into my other workplaces and I just got my ass kicked. I really did” “It broke me but in a way, I'm proud that it did because I guess that means I have something left to break. I have a heart left to break” “I'd much rather keep my humanity”

I used to think my job was to motivate my team. Pep talks. Happy hours. Rah-rah nonsense. None of it worked. Then I realized: motivated people show up motivated. My job was to stop killing it. Here are 8 ways we accidently demotivate our teams:

@bryan_johnson I have seen 222 for years and it comes up during some intense moments. My partner and I have memorialized 2-22-22 and celebrate it every year. We came twogether to play a game on Netflix the other day and I had to take a picture, my album is full of these moments 🙏

@enwofor10 @im_tolumichael Boss was impulsive, made excuses, and didn’t listen well. I became factual and brief, I didn’t volunteer or suggest, and in the end he was grateful for my professionalism after he quit. He is also a reference now that I wouldn’t have had otherwise

6. Reputation grows over time. How people perceive your professionalism, reliability, and attitude builds slowly but powerfully. One reputation opens doors, while another quietly closes them. The earlier you understand that your behavior shapes your long-term professional brand, the more intentionally you manage it.

@Simon_Ingari Stay reliably short and concise. I utilize a playful tone when the opportunity arises for some personality. Conserves my energy and I don’t take anything personally. I’ve garnered respect and solid references this way in the most toxic of places without dying inside

A friend is trying to figure out how to survive corporate life. He’s not fake — but he’s realizing authenticity doesn’t always win in environments full of politics, gaslighting, and quiet incompetence. How do you stay sane, strategic, and successful without becoming someone you don’t respect? Real advice only.
