@awomaninsoutha Look at the massive difference in views on YouTube for their sets and you’ll get your answer. It’s a function of the revenue you bring in, the stage is irrelevant.

Gender pay gaps are so weird because, why is Justin Bieber earning more for Coachella, for using YouTube on stage, while Sabrina earned less when she built multiple worlds on the stage for her set. Weird

The woman who sent Eric Swalwell nudes because she was “intrigued by him” was later on SHOCKED that he tried to have sex with her after alcoholic drinks.

@_ohthehumanity_ @Bctshaggy @robbysoave In every case, an adult woman made the conscious decision to reciprocate with a married man, then came forward with allegations before an election. And ofc they were all drunk He’s a sleaze who’s guilty of cheating on his wife, but these are adults who knew what they were doing

@_ohthehumanity_ @Bctshaggy @robbysoave The allegation is “I was blackout drunk but also remember saying no. Oh and btw this exact same thing happened years ago, where once again, I was blackout drunk.” No victim would invite that man out for drinks and run it back years later if that really happened.

@Bctshaggy @robbysoave Yes, pouring boiling potatoes on someone is worse than a woman who made the choice to have an affair with a married man multiple times over the course of years

Uh, really? Not really my experience. I remember my bedtime as a kid was 8:30 but I also woke up at 6 am. Of course, 6 am may be a reasonable awakening time if you get your kids to bed by 8:30, but if you've still got to be asleep by 10 if you want 8 hours. I agree with the general idea that earlier bedtimes help, but I don't think kids naturally sleep 10+ hours (after infancy, when the 10+ hours are spread out).

@koomai I had four 3 year olds. They were perfectly capable of playing by themselves for stretches at a time every day and have turned out great.

I genuinely do not get why kids take up 100% of their parents’ time these days. My dad and mom raised us 9 kids and didn’t spend every waking moment with us. I raised 4 of my own and didn’t spend every waking moment with them. And yet every reply is telling this burned out dad that he is doing the right thing, or even to go harder. Super weird to me.
PPE@planert41

Dads with young kids Is it normal to just feel tired and burnt out all the time? It’s like you don’t even really get the weekend to recover because it’s all just kid stuff the moment you wake up Arguably the only personal time you have is when they nap (and you’re already dead tired by that time) or the hour after they go to bed but before you pass out Just trying to figure out if I’m doing something wrong

The reason the Wharf in DC seems to have way more soul than NoMa or Navy Yard despite having the exact same architectural style is just that it’s entirely pedestrianized. Without cars, it brims with life like a European street

@Rockenjud @kjgillenwater Your entire premise was that you have more nutrition education than doctors. But the dieticians who have more nutrition education than you are indoctrinated? Stay in your lane

@kjgillenwater True its also indoctrination. like any other degree including mine. It takes a certain type of person to use that knowledge as a base & then persue more knowledge. Not everything they teach is correct. Its pharma influenced. Why give a patient synthetic vitamins & protein drinks?

Got in trouble again for telling a patient with cancer to cut down on sugars, carbs, junk food, eat healthy, organic food. I was told I'm a nurse not a nutritionist or dietician. Ok Felicia but in my nursing program I took more the 4 days of nutrition classes then medical students take. That alone makes me more qualified then a doctors nutrition advice

@zhusu Monetary incentives like this will make the worst actors have lots of kids for the financial benefits while people that don't want kids won't change their behavior. Lots of people are "DINKs" by choice. You'd also further skyrocket national debt by paying for people's houses.

To solve birth rates, governments could give newlyweds loans to buy a home. 25% of the debt could be cancelled upon birth of each child. The loan would require the mother to stay at home to raise the children, thereby lowering male unemployment. Exceptions could be made if the father was unemployed. From there, you could also have a 6% income tax on unmarried men 25-50, and unmarried women 20-45. Monks can be exempted.

@CedraCrenshaw What a fantastic proposal to make home ownership in good school districts even less affordable/attainable! The obvious answer is to reform public school education curriculums, which benefits the entire community through higher education and income levels.

These posts would be a lot more productive if they offered solutions for the fact that the average man makes $60K-$70K while the average 4-person household costs $100K. The math isn't mathing You're looking at a complex mess of wage stagnation, price inflation, and policy failures that built up over 40+ years Blaming feminism for everything is getting really juvenile
Leonine Institute@leoinstituteCST

Conservative feminism tells you that you can have 2 full time jobs simultaneously. Most people are sensible enough to realize that one of these jobs will get inadequate attention. You can be a great mom and a model employee, but not at the same time.

@aliswisel @ryancduff @missmayn Subjectivity “considering” the factual by definition is not as objective as an actual fact. In the context of this thread, official crime statistics > OP’s subjective feelings and perception of crime. That’s not up for debate or subjective spin.
