It’s Now been Proven that Supervised Consumption sites Don’t prevent deaths or Overdoses so why do advocates still want to keep them open???

@mskelleyware @patgagnon_75 My hindsight theory is that Pierre's optimal election would have been 2021 and O'Toole's would have been 2025.
Very different political climates and election questions.

@patgagnon_75 Honestly, I am pretty confident when I say that the CPC would have been government by now if they had stuck with O'Toole.
There likely would have been an election sometime in 2023(ish) with progressives sticking with the NDP, which would have given a CPC minority at least.

Say what you will about Erin O'Toole's leadership. I disagreed with him from time to time but at least he had the common sense to try to move the party forward. He's the only one who tried and the party removed him to elect Pierre Poilievre. How'd that work out again 🤔.

The PM has the confidence of the House. I certainly don't want an election, nor do I think Canadians want one, nor do I think you actually want one.
Let's stop with the "least democratic", "illegitimate" talk.

Mark Carney is currently attempting what is maybe the least democratic thing in Canadian history, cobbling together an illegitimate majority he didn’t earn during the election through backroom deals and who knows what else. If you want a majority government in Canada, you should earn it at the ballot box.
