It was revealed that the closure of Grangemouth was due to the Snp/greens when they refused permission to refurbish the refinery with a £300m budget . The SNP/greens demanded a £1bn eco friendly refurb that made the project unviable and forced the closure

@AFC19035 Energy is devolved. We get over ruled by Westminster every time.Look what happened at Ardersier and Grangemouth recently with the loss of jobs.The people of the NE are the workforce of the industry but all the money goes South. Westminster gets all the taxes (VAT and Fuel duty).

Most polls going into this campaign suggest the SNP won’t quite get a majority. But who would they form a coalition with? Will it be the Greens again, who would force the NHS to prescribe puberty blockers to children, and kill off Scottish manufacturing and the oil and gas industry for good? Or if not, would Anas Sarwar “hold his nose” and join them for power? Or perhaps the LibDems? Scots deserve to know what their votes will really mean. They know what they're getting with Reform.
