@farooqkperogi We cannot legitimise illegitimacy. What transpired is nothing but electoral theft. It is most unacceptable, most despicable, most destainful and most recentful. We stand in total condemnation and rejection of the charade aided by the military and supretended by INEC and APC.

Vance Attacks Israeli Critics of the MoU by Hugh Fitzgerald With a particularly unpleasant tone of a viceroy dressing down the ungrateful leader of the restive natives, Vice President JD Vance told Israel to stop criticizing the MoU because, he said, it would be good for the Jewish state. So far, no representative of that state has praised the MoU; attitudes expressed now range from fury to horror. "Speaking to reporters from the White House, Vance said that President Donald Trump was 'the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time,' and chastised Israeli cabinet members that the majority of the Jewish State’s defensive weapons were provided through US funding." It is not true that Trump is the “only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to Israel” at this time. Both parts of that assertion are false. First, Trump has shown no sympathy for Israel’s need to keep hitting Hezbollah in Lebanon and wants Israel to stop, lest continuing to strike Hezbollah causes Iran to pull out of the peace deal. He has accused Israel of needlessly killing civilians: “You don’t have to knock down a building every time somebody walks into it that’s from Hezbollah” is Trump’s misinformed way of describing IDF tactics, where the usual modus operandi is to hit exactly the one apartment in a building being used by Hezbollah terrorists, and to leave the rest of the building intact.  Trump  has repeatedly and publicly called Netanyahu “f**king crazy.” Can you imagine what Trump’s reaction would be if any foreign leader called him “f**king crazy”?  He refused Israel’s request to see the MoU before it was signed. He did not demand that Iran give up its ballistic missiles — a matter of vital concern to Israel — because, Trump said, “it would be a little bit unfair” to keep Iran from having ballistic missiles if Saudi Arabia and others in the region  had them. As for Vance’s claim that the U.S. is Israel’s only ally, that is also not true. Among the leaders around the world who remain staunchly pro-Israel include Javier Milei of Argentina, Narendra Modi of India,  Petr Pavel of Czechia, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi of Somaliland, Bernardo Arevalo of Guatemala, Giorgia Meloni of Italy, and Aleksandar Vučić of Sebia. And many of those in Europe who lead anti-Muslim immigrant parties, several of whom are likely to come to power in their country’s next election, include Alice Weidel of the Alternative für Deutschland in Germany, Geert Wilders of the Party for Freedom in the Netherlands, Jordan Bardella of the National Rally in France, and Rupert Lowe of Restore Britain, are all distinctly pro-Israel. Does Vance know any of this? Read more at the link in the next post.

"Police released Armed Fulani Militia, we arrested & gave them their AK-47's back to them" Gov. Udom - *"We arrested persons with fake army uniforms carrying 18 AK-47's rifles and handed them over to the police"* However, the police hierarchy gave express orders that those persons should be released and their guns handed back to them. We want to let the world know that if there is a breakdown of law and order tomorrow, the police should be held responsible. All attempts to speak with the top hierarchy of the police in the zone and at Abuja were rebuffed. - Gov. Emmanuel Udom. Akwa Ibom State. 🙇🏾‍♂️ 🙇🏾‍♂️

The last time I was in Lagos I paid to enter a beach in Lekki. Not a resort. Not a water park. A beach. Sand. Water. A coastline that existed long before any of us were born. Someone bought it. Fenced it. Put a gate on it. Now you pay to touch the ocean. What kind of government sells its people access to nature? Happy Democracy Day. 🇳🇬

On the other hand, while I understand the party has to reward its long-term members, I don't see how it makes any sense to appoint someone as director of new media who has said such horrible things in the past about your presidential candidate. These are not just posts made merely to demarket a person; these are very vile and image damaging posts. So he doesn't mind working with IPOB members now? Members of a proscribed terrorist group? Is this what @NigeriaNDCHQ stands for?

If you all Obidients can’t understand that the party is supreme and accept it, my advice to you all is to abstain from politics. Y’all should understand that the nonsense you did in the Labour Party that was tolerated is not how you run a political party. Better still, go and create your own Obidient political party. So, you want to run a parallel account outside the NDC designated account, and you say y’all understand politics? Go and ask other political parties how it’s done. Read section 221 of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution. What you guys did with Labour Party in 2023 was illegal and you think you’ll be able to do that in NDC?

Dear Obidients and all support groups within the Obidients movement, listen up! This latest NDC press statement is a direct attack on the organic people powered support that we give to Peter Obi. It is not subtle it is a calculated power grab designed to weaken the Obidient movement and subordinate Peter Obi’s influence to their party structure. Let me break it down clearly using their own words: 1. They want total control over all support groups “All affiliated groups and NGOs shall operate under the guidance and control of the party and must not function in parallel with or independently of the party structure.” Translation: Your independent support groups for Peter Obi are no longer welcome. Everything must be controlled by NDC. This is a massive red flag! 2. They are openly against “personality cults” meaning they are targeting Peter Obi “The NDC is being built as an institution not a personality cult political movement or Special Purpose Vehicle SPV…” This line is a direct jab at the massive organic following and love Obidients have for Peter Obi. They know his influence comes from the people not from party godfathers so they are trying to delegitimize it. 3. They are systematically reducing Obidient influence By insisting on party supremacy and removing top aspirants from the Obidient bloc they want to weaken Peter Obi’s political capital ahead of future elections. If you doubt this ask the Director of Obidient Movement: How many serious aspirants from the Obidient bloc actually got tickets under NDC? 4. They want to control your money “Monies sourced by candidates at all levels must be fully disclosed to the party Such funds must be received through dedicated party campaign accounts…” In plain language: Any money you raise as a support group for Peter Obi must first be sent to NDC before they decide how or if to release it back. They want to seize financial control of the movement.
This is not party building this is an attempt to kill the independent spirit of the Obidient movement and turn Peter Obi into a mere ornament within their structure. They want Obidients to exist only as long as we are fully submissive to NDC godfathers.
Obidients this is the time to stay vigilant.
We built this movement on the streets on social media and in the hearts of millions of Nigerians not inside any party secretariat. We will not surrender our independence or our loyalty to Peter Obi on the altar of “party supremacy.”
The struggle continues. Reject any attempt to cage the Obidient spirit!
