@TomPelissero TL;DR The refs had a goal of “making forward progress.” But the owners made a “false start” and instead were “holding” things up with an “ineligible man downfield” that would only “prevent” a deal from crossing the “goal line.”

The war in Iran has nuked the fiction that the Right-wing podcasters and youtubers and Twitter personalities and content creators who turned against Trump wield any power. They are influencers without influence—on the President or his followers.

@KimIversenShow 84% approval on foreign policy among self-proclaimed Trump supports is actually quite a bad number. It only goes way down from there.

This CBS studio show is absolutely embarrassing. Zero concern for the audience. An inconsequential NFL player, a really inconsequential WNBA player, an all-time great NBA player who doesn't follow college basketball, and Clark Kellogg. Wow. The agenda is just too much.

This feels like doomsday for the #Chiefs at pick #9... What are you doing if this is the board when the Chiefs get on the clock?

@scrowder I asked @grok to analyze X posts, to see if President Trump is losing support from the MAGA base. Grok found there is NO drop in support, still in the 80-90% range, due to the Epic Fury operation against Iran.

Though its gross to drink diet soda at all and I have spells of revulsion and abstinence, I learned recently that you can mix any two of them and come up with something just as drinkable as any one of them. They don't really have tastes, this may mean. They have quasi-tastes.

@cdotharrison @LanceTHESPOKEN Justin Fields is like the show Baywatch: Athletic and dumb, but sometimes fun to watch when nothing else is on. I would have preferred if the trade were a 6-7 swap, though.

@LanceTHESPOKEN Not hating on the move but the Jets were kinda stuck. Had $23M cap hit with $22M in dead cap. They moved on. It sounds like Fields just chose KC over the other options.

The Chiefs just got one of if not the most athletic QB as their backup for a 2027 6th round pick while the Jets pay the majority of Justin Fields remaining contract. VEACH. SEASON.

I'm writing this because I need to know if anyone else is feeling the same deep disappointment I am. In Trump's first term, I was genuinely hopeful. I believed he would restore law and order, freedom, and some basic sanity to our country. My support never wavered and I lost friends over it. Each victory went unsavored, because it was immediately overshadowed by bizarre tweetstorms that felt like self-sabotage, yet I hung in there because some of those outrageous tweets were followed by what seemed like real victories. I stayed on the roller coaster through all the ups and downs, always defending him. I excused the inaction, the lack of finesse, the poor judgments and appointments as the growing pains of a true outsider fighting the system. The relentless attacks on his character and family hurt me personally, and when they tried to assassinate him, my resolve only strengthened. I prayed silently when he was prayed over in those early, sincere moments. But something has shifted—and it's not just optics. Nothing has really changed for the better in the ways that mattered most. Now he's surrounded by television grifters speaking with forked tongues and people that once prayed over him are now clearly beholden to others. He pivots seamlessly from the murder of a true friend to gilded ballrooms, from the ruins of genocide to what feels like a grotesque  planned "Gazapalooza" spectacle. The fierce calls for accountability and law & order have softened into "I don't want to hurt my friends." Files about pedophiles became dismissals of a "Democrat hoax." Depositions turned into "I don't like to see it—I actually like the guy. "America First" and "no new wars" have morphed into deep involvement in far-off international crises, hostile takeovers. A so-called "Board of Peace" weeks ago has morphed towards the edge  of World War 3, estrangement from nearly all allies except one, and American soldiers coming home in boxes. He now surrounds himself with paid influencer lunatics, neocons with good golf moves, shady nepotism, and sycophants whispering that he's doing better than ever—all tied together by powerful lobbies, the shadows of the Epstein files, and unchecked greed. I can't chalk this up to naivete anymore. This is an intentional flip-flop, and it's heartbreaking to admit. It's sad, but there's no doubt left in me. This path will ruin his legacy and, I predict, end in impeachment backed by both parties. I respect the Office of the President but not this man anymore. Am I the only one feeling this way?

I hope my old friend @DonaldJTrumpJr (who still follows me, a small number) sees what is happening to the movement I gave my adult life to. Do you support the targeted destruction of our mutual friend Tucker? Or do your business deals make you blind to how it's all going down?

@mari59135 @LauraLoomer Iran was not a threat to the United States. The government has admitted this. It’s not my country’s job to protect Iranians from their government, or Israelis or any other foreign country. Our President used to recognize this. x.com/realdonaldtrum…

Why? For taking out an evil terrorist regime? You do realize they recently slaughtered over 30,000 of their own citizens for standing for freedom? They were close to having a nuclear bomb and have been saying for decades they are going to wipe us off the map along with Israel. Not sure how ridding the world of that is classified as going off the rails?
