Vi descrivo la scena, perché qui siamo davvero al paradosso. Milano. Una signora bionda viene insultata e chiamata con disprezzo “trumpiana”. Viene accusata di essere razzista e redarguita sui social network. Perché? Perché ha fatto rispettare una regola. La regola è semplicissima: per prendere il taxi si fa la fila. Non si salta davanti in mezzo alla strada per salire a bordo perché ci si stufa di attendere il proprio turno, scavalcando così chi è in testa alla fila. Non si passa davanti agli altri. Si aspetta il proprio turno. E questa regola vale per chiunque, a prescindere da nazionalità, sesso, colore della pelle, religione, stato sociale. Semplice, no? Quella signora definita “trumpiana” non veniva dalla coda. Veniva dalla testa della fila. E ha semplicemente preso il taxi che spettava a lei. Come avrebbe fatto chiunque di noi. Voi vi fareste scavalcare, magari da qualcuno perché turista? Io no. Da nessuno. Le tre signore straniere, invece, arrivavano dalla coda. Eppure oggi funziona così: chi rispetta le regole viene insultato e accusato di razzismo, chi le calpesta passa per vittima. È sempre lo stesso schema, fateci caso. E lo denuncio da anni. Pretendere il rispetto delle regole non è razzismo. È civiltà. Il vero razzismo, semmai, è etichettare e insultare una persona per questo. Siamo arrivati a questo punto: la normalità, il rispetto delle regole, il senso civico vengono criminalizzati; mentre l’arbitrio, la cattiva educazione, il disprezzo verso gli altri, il menefreghismo vengono giustificati, addirittura difesi. E no, non funziona così. In Italia, come ovunque dovrebbe essere, le regole valgono per tutti. Turisti, residenti, chiunque. E chi è ospite si adegua. Se questo vi risulta essere “razzismo”, state a casa vostra.

If you start a series, it's a promise to the fans who bought and loved the book: there will be a sequel, I will finish this series. If you've made money or gained fame through your fans, of course you owe them something! Yes, things can go wrong and they might not keep their promises, that's part of life... that's not a problem, but they have responsibilities, no one can say they're not responsible.
