لاحظوا: نفسُ إخواننا في غزة الذين يقولون "يا رب خذ من دمائنا وأبنائنا حتى ترضى" هم الذين تراهم يهبون ليرفعوا الأنقاض بأيديهم لساعات محاولين انتشال من يمكن انتشاله.. هم أنفسهم الذين يركضون بالجرحى إلى المستشفى في لهفة.. هم أنفسهم الذين يحاولون إنقاذ حياة طفل ترضرض جسمه وتمزقت أطرافه أو امرأة احترق أكثرُ جسدها..يحاولون أن يُحيوا قلب عجوز ضاغطين على صدره بكل ما أوتوا من قوة.. على ماذا يدلك هذا؟ يدلك على أنهم حين يُضَحون بأنفسهم وأبنائهم في سبيل ربهم، فليس هذا عن استهانة بالنفس البشرية، ولا عن يأس من الحياة..بل قد يكونون أكثر الناس على وجه الأرض تقديراً وتكريماً للنفس البشرية وحرصاً على حياتها.. ولهفتهم في إنقاذ نفس في جسد ممزق خير دليل على ذلك.. ودمعاتهم وهم يودعون أبناءهم ويحتضنون أكفان أقربائهم الموشحة بالدماء خير دليل على حياة قلوبهم وقوة عاطفتهم.. لكنهم في الوقت ذاته يعلمون عظمة الرب الذي من أجله يضحون والجزاء الذي ينتظرون.. فسلام عليهم وأعاننا الله على نصرتهم وانتقم ممن ظلمهم وخذلهم وتآمر عليهم.
