High School & Travel baseball has turned postgame handshakes into a formality. 7 innings of chirping Then a quick “good game” line? Most of it isn’t real anymore. Respect should show up during the game, not forced after it. Why even bother with the hand shake?

The pitch count police are all over social media. Very few are educated. When I see an in shape physical pitcher go 125 pitches in a 9 inning complete game, I think that's how it's supposed to be done.

First, as a STH I’m happy with Ben Johnson and the direction the Bears are heading. One comment I have, is that many coaches seem to forget scoring first yields a 64.5% win rate. So I wish Ben took that opening 3 and then go nuts on 4th down later on in the game. I just believe you need to take that opening jab and then go for the knockout punch. GO BEARS!
