@LucinehK_ The theory was never confirmed with evidence. Ahmad Shah lived in exile, far from politics and nade no attempt to reclaim the throne. A few years later, Reza Shah met Atatürk 🤷🏻‍♂️. Strange for that meeting in the light of what you stated.

After Reza Khan overthrew Ahmad Shah Qajar in 1921, Ataturk offered to help the exiled king regain the Iranian throne, but he refused, citing a desire not to owe his throne to a foreign power. In 2026, the grandson, Reza Pahlavi showed he has less honor than the weakest Qajar king.

@yarahawari You know who didn't get any call? The victims of fundamentalist terrorist attacks in Europe in the last two decades. No warning to at least spare the families. Just ruthless indiscriminate slaughter. Next to those episodes, what Israel is doing seems far too kind

A dark, dark, future lies in front of us. A future where you can receive a phone call presenting you with an ultimatum; to be killed in your car with your family or to get out and run only to be chased and killed by a drone controlled by a psychotic teenager sitting in a bunker a few kilometres away. What is being tested on us today will be used on you tomorrow.
fatima bhutto 🇵🇸🇱🇧🇮🇷@fbhutto

This young man received a call from the Israeli military saying he could either die alone or in the car with his family. He ran into a field alone and was murdered by one of their drones. This is the future Israel wants for the entire world. They cannot have it.

I'm not going to state categorically that it was 40.000. No one will know the real number until there's a free, transparent and unrestricted investigation (and I hope it happens one day). But, it's not such a crazy number if you consider that it's nation wide. HRANA reported protests in 285 locations. Obviously, deaths didn't distribute evenly but just for the sake of the exercise, let's assume so. That's 148 deaths per location. 74 per location per day. Not that impossible. What we do know is that the count includes dead from wounds and the ones executed in hospitals, which would bring the on site deaths slightly down. It also counts disappeared (taken/arrested) which were never heard of later. The fact that there was a total internet blackout is already telling you that there was an attempt to hide what happened. And we can all agree that if the official count (from the IRI) is over 3000, then it's easy to assume that there's more. Even 3000 in two days is a barbarity. But like you said in another reply, it's absurd that we get ourselves distracted in number debates when the focus should be solely in denouncing the severity of a bloodbath (whether 300, 3000 or 30000).

@persianserene2 @Irenxxvw The IRGC has nearly 200,000 armed men. Each armed man has access to hundreds of rounds of ammo. If each of those men, shot one person through the course of a week, that would be 5 times the number you're saying is ridiculous. Pretty simple.

@rostam_pechorin At least we agree on the general and majority opposition to the regime. It's really unclear how much support Pahlavi has in Iran, and it won't be clear until people have a free chance to voice their opinions without risking their life.

@foadgall Yea majority of people oppose the regime. The ~30% who voted is a tally of tens of millions more IR supporters than Pahlavi has in Iran.

Everywhere he goes in Europe* large crowds of 60 year old exiles* gather. Reza Pahlavi is the preferred political leader of hundreds of thousands of exiled* Iranians. The other 92 million might have a different opinion though. Jallili, the hardliner who ran against the current president, and lost, received 13.5 million votes. Pezeshkian received 16 million votes.
The Iran Watcher 🇮🇷@TheIranWatcher

Everywhere he goes, large crowds gather. Every time he calls for a rally, people show up in force. The world should take the hint. Reza Pahlavi is the preferred political leader of Iranians. This was today in Stockholm, where the Crown Prince addressed the Swedish parliament.

@kshahrooz It can only mislead dumb readers. You either address the Parliament or members. Members doesn't even imply all of them. Anyone who regularly reads, knows this.

This is written to intentionally mislead. "I will address members of Parliament" is technically correct, but the reader is left with the impression that he's been invited to address the Parliament. That's not accurate. He's speaking to a few right-wing Swedish MPs.
Reza Pahlavi@PahlaviReza

I am pleased to have arrived in Stockholm. Tomorrow I will address members of Parliament with a simple message for Sweden and Europe: act in support of the people of Iran and our struggle for freedom and true peace. Stand on the right side of history. aftonbladet.se/nyheter/a/L436…

Where does it say which emojis does a platform have to put? Are you against freedom if speech? Social media can support social movements. Deniying the flag movement that has been taken place for months, is a reality distortion. Reducing this flag to Pahlavists is another. Educate yourself.
