@borderlinestars i do nawt wanna see another psych professional, i agreed to a nueropsych but thats it. therapy defo isnt for me i think it gave me more issues than i came in with tbh

@ghostspiraling Thats very valid, i felt very similar until i became old enough to feel comfortable enough to make my own choices w/ who i choose to talk to, switching professionals, etc.. But yeah, thats very valid, therapy genuinely isn’t for everyone and thats ok!! :)

@borderlinestars ive heard that abt a lot of therapy things but honestly i dont like therapy at all as a concept. i feel talked down to by any psychiatric professional and now as an adult no longer see therapists or psychiatrists due to trauma. id rather manage my conditions on my own yk

@ghostspiraling Thats fair! Its not for everyone, but one thing abt it is its smth that you gotta practice everyday for it to be effective m, which is tedious – i totally get the weed part haha! Weed has honestly been a big help for me as well , i dont think i would’ve gotten this far w/o it

@borderlinestars i have done dbt actually, i was in a dbt group for a few months and did some work in it in hospitals but didnt really find it very helpful. only thing that helps w my bpd episodes is having a friend to talk me down a bit or smoking weed lol

@ghostspiraling Ugh thats horrible. That is one reason why my therapist refuses to put it ‘officially’ down on my medical record – afraid of care being denied to me.. it’s unfortunate. Keep advocating, seriously, its so so important!! DBT is very helpful for BPD & other symptoms/disorders, …

@borderlinestars thank you 🫂 i also have (?) bpd idk im getting re tested and god the stigma is so bad. medical professionals refuse to see me due to that diagnosis and having did as well will suck. i hate therapy so ill likely just ,, deal w it on my own idk

@ghostspiraling DID/OSDD and other dissociative disorders are actually more common than originally thought. Its a very common way the brain protects itself from trauma it can’t process, for lack of better terms. Keep advocating for yourself, get help if you need/want it. …

@Jinxzz13 in my experience it depends on whos drawing the blood. some people wont say anything and will just do their job, but if they do comment on it theyll mainly just ask if youre recieving professional help

What would happen if you went to the hospital to get your blood taken, and when you roll up your sleeve, there's just a shit ton of healing cuts? I cut to the fat layer, beans, a lot of the time. My mental health nurse just really reccomends me to go get my blood tests done.

@ghostspiraling I don’t have any of that but I do get periods once every couple of days-weeks where I basically wake up (while I’m already awake) and go “oh shit all of this is real I’m real” so I feel like I kind of get it? And I’ve also got memory gaps and weird things with it
