Google Labs@GoogleLabs

Introducing the new @stitchbygoogle, Google’s vibe design platform that transforms natural language into high-fidelity designs in one seamless flow. 🎨Create with a smarter design agent: Describe a new business concept or app vision and see it take shape on an AI-native canvas. ⚡️ Iterate quickly: Stitch screens together into interactive prototypes and manage your brand with a portable design system. 🎤 Collaborate with voice: Use hands-free voice interactions to update layouts and explore new variations in real-time. Here is a quick walkthrough of everything new in Stitch: 🎨 The AI-native canvas can hold and reason across images, code, and text simultaneously. The new agent manager helps you design in parallel. (PS … light mode!) 🧠 A smarter design agent now understands your entire canvas context. You can swap images, generate product briefs, or mix mobile and desktop screens on the same canvas. 🎙️ You can vibe design with your voice (in Preview). Stitch can ‘see’ your canvas and your selected screens. You can ask for design critiques, variations, or navigate your canvas. ⚡️ Instant prototypes. Just hit the play button to see a prototype or preview your app in seconds. Stitch can imagine the next screen based on your mouse click. 📐 DESIGN.md and consistency. Every new design automatically starts with a cohesive design system which vastly improves consistency. The new DESIGN.md file can be used to export or import your design rules. Walkthrough video👇 Details for each major improvement 🧵

Tried it out. So the product scans stuff, then it shows Reddit tells me people post about my company, surfaces competitors I already knew about ages ago, wraps it in a dashboard, and wants me to scream “OMG we saved $60k. At this point I’m convinced half of startup hype is just polished demos. How’s this the “ultimate CMO” for me

Three teams had 8 hours (with a lunch break) to go heads down and build with Jules and Stitch. We teamed up with @codetv_dev for the latest WebDev Challenge. Episode link below.

A simple formula to keep agents busy. > Outcome = Event + Agent Action If you are typing into a prompt box to get all your work done, you are the event, and you are the bottleneck. Automate. Make the work event driven: cron, web hooks, whatever. When the event triggers, the agent does the work and produces the outcome (a PR, a deployment). Iterate. What do you do if the outcome is poor quality? Just like the old days, it's not expected to work the first time. Tweak the plan. Create diagnostic tools, plan verification steps, and add to tests. Isolate the problem in the automation, fix it, and run it again. btw... Jules is pretty darn good at keeping busy. With Jules the formula looks like: > PR = REST API Post + Jules Agent But no matter your agent, keep the loop going.

@Trace_Cohen Local tools can rely on local build environments - on the web, the agent has to reason about how to build the repo. Much harder than it sounds

@corbtt @yishan i'm not the guy to do comparisons like that - i like progress in all great ai engineering and coding tools and am not gonna put down the other guys who are doing super great work. think wandb has a dedicated FDE? who can talk thru the nonpublic data points.

Stitch by Google@stitchbygoogle

Our community always inspires and surprises us. ❤️ Yesterday Stitch was the #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt! 🏆 We are endlessly grateful for the support. 🫶 We loved reading through every single comment. We really appreciate the excitement around the MCP launch, and we hear you loud and clear on merging mobile & desktop (good news: it's actively in progress! 🛠️). Thank you to everyone building the Vibe Design movement with us. We couldn't do this without you. Link in thread.

Keeping your agents busy is a real challenge in today's AI world. Last December we shipped Scheduled tasks for Jules along with prompt suggestions that turn Jules into things like a designer, a performance checker, and a security engineer. Run these checks on a consistent schedule to keep your agents busy.

hey @OfficialLoganK @itsakdev @simpsoka - i thought Workspace support was dropping a month ago, no? I went to upgrade to @julesagent Pro to get the newer Gemini models plus more concurrent tasks ("upgrade me, upgrade me" as Queen B would say) and ran into this. I do all things and everything under the same Workspace account I've used for ~15 years.

“The future job will be simple to define the goals, the constraints, and long term strategy” 👀 we’re building this right now. And it’s something different than Jules. If you have a product that is out in the world (deployed + people are using regularly), please DM for early access
andrew chen@andrewchen

Today the job of the PM is the define the product, how it works, and how it’ll get built But we won’t need that soon The future job will be simple to define the goals, the constraints, and long term strategy - and letting the AI figure the rest out Goal Architect, not product manager
