You know how terrorists pack IEDs with metal ball bearings to maximise damage? Similar mechanism is with fragmentation warhead

🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 IRGC releases footage claiming it hit a U.S. F-35 with a surface-to-air missile over Iran.
Separate reports say an F-35 made an emergency landing at a regional air base after taking hostile fire.
CENTCOM says the incident is under investigation.
If confirmed, this would be the first time an F-35 has ever been struck by enemy fire in combat.

@krazyskott @MarioNawfal I dont think this was a direct hit. Airplanes are very soft targets and SAMs have fragmentation warheads which would poke holes in them. After that the plane is only usable for parts, because nobody is going to risk the life of a pilot to fly a damaged plane.

Earlier today, an armed individual opened fire at Old Dominion University, leaving one person dead and two others wounded. The shooter is now deceased thanks to a group of brave students who stepped in and subdued him – actions that undoubtedly saved lives along with the quick response of law enforcement. The FBI is now investigating the shooting as an act of terrorism. Our Joint Terrorism Task Force is fully engaged, embedded with local authorities, and providing all resources necessary in the investigation. In the meantime, please pray for the victims, their families, and the ODU community.
