Hallelujah! It only took 2 months of me calling IT every week to finally reach the right person who’d give me permanent admin access on my new work computer so I can stop bugging them every time I need to update my non-standard software which is frequent.

@DScapusio The new M1 macbooks have network log ins and are controlled much more granularly... so admin password changes every 7 days ... and im technically not a developer, so when they'd ask, i'd say no, i'm not, and thus I wouldn't get admin privileges ... I'm glad i got it!

My (old) Echo Show ALWAYS reverts to showing me promotional slides for features and things I don't want, despite making sure I uncheck EVERYTHING in settings. I just want it to show me the time, my calendar, and handle my lights.

I used GoHoller.ai to collect feedback after class yesterday with a simple 1-question survey. Using a QR code, I asked students to answer the question at the end of class. 1/2 the class responded, then AI provided insights.
