What was the dumbest thing you ever got suspended for on this platform? I got suspended multiple times but more than once I think for talking about ivermectin! I wanted people to know there was a viable therapeutic and they didn’t need to get jabbed!

@RiseOfAlberta The only reason one might reasonably offer is an argument about the challenges of being a land-locked nation. However, this would be a temporary problem solved through negotiations with one or two neighbours, not an impossible task 😑

@erik_thorvalds My nieces and nephews in Ontario are also being passed over for jobs and promotions because they don’t check certain boxes, while people who can’t speak the language seem to land in the country and drive new SUVs a month later. Young people have zero reason to stay.

Canada’s youth aren’t “unhappy.” They’re seething. No jobs that pay enough to matter. Homes priced like luxury yachts for people who’ll never afford a dinghy. Inflation devouring every paycheque like a pack of starving raccoons. And a country so splintered—culturally, economically, politically—that “cohesiveness” is now a punchline. This isn’t youthful angst. This is an entire generation staring at the corpse of the Canadian Dream and realising the maple syrup was poisoned years ago. O Canada…

@fandompulse I stopped watching STD a few episodes into the second season. I stopped watching Picard after the first season, and skipped a lot of the first episode. I’ve not watched Section 31. I’ve not watched Academy. Really enjoyed Lower Decks, though. That was fun for the most part 🙂

@LisaBritton I love teaching kids and have been working in education for almost 20 years. That said, I’ll be deep in the cold, cold ground before I step foot in a Canadian classroom. The ROI is simply not worth the hassles 😑

Dog food has gone up at least 50% in the past six months. Why even try to be part of society anymore? I could disappear into the mountains and live off the land for darn near nothing if I use the weekends to scout a location and build a shack big enough for the dog and I. Plumbing would be a bit challenging at first, and I’d miss electricity, but the day to day challenges would be far more honest than the stuff many of us are required to do today 😑
