Premium vs Non-premium balls So many comments saying “if you aren’t X handicap or better than the ball doesn’t matter” I completely disagree With a premium ball you get better: Aerodynamics Spin control Predictable roll on greens Durability Just to name a few Sure, a 20 handicap still needs to improve strike and face to path But a premium ball could make bad shots a little less bad. Which could be the difference of the ball going into a hazard or not

Anthony Kim has landed in Australia ahead of LIV Adelaide and is straight to work down the range. His swing looks really solid imo. Needs to start putting some decent scores together soon.

So, one of the common themes i read from the PGA Tour shills is that the tour is great because a new no name that no one knows is winning every week. They claim that is what makes the tour so exciting and compelling. While saying that Liv is garbage because it has a core cadre of players. I guess if you are a hard core golf fan that watches 40 hours of golf every week this makes some sense and has some logic to it. But name any other pro sport this is the case and keeps an audience. Even individual sports have a core group. Tennis? No, without Novak or the williams sisters and steady stars no one would watch. Racing? No, a core collection of drivers are competing every event and the winner comes from that group. Name one pro sport that survives with a rotating group of winners every week? Bowling maybe? Imagine if the KC Chiefs had 14 different QBs a year? Would anyone watch that? Bottom line is if we have new stars winning every week that no one knows is the hill the PGA Tour is going to die on, then it truly will die there. Casual golf fans want stars not no names. It is why Liv works. Oh, and the same accounts that make this claim are also the same accounts that constantly talk about how Tiger is so huge and still moves the needle and causes earthquakes everywhere he goes. Talk about both sides of ones mouth. Cant’t make this shit up.
