Released on this day in 1979 was Pink Floyd The Wall. The album went to number 3 in the UK charts, and spent 68 weeks in the charts. Due to the tight timescales in finishing the album, there were some slight changes to the running order and content which contradicted the inner sleeves which had already been printed. Earlier copies of the cover had a plastic "window cling" type sticker with the album title on it - later ones were printed...
