@Kumachi_alamode i totally agree, i noticed that a few weeks ago and i’m trying to focus my edits more on storytelling. Not a lot of creators or editors actually do this, so i feel like it’s something worth exploring

Hmmm maybe a hot take? I don’t think yapping is enough. I do think it is very important to yap and not have too much dead air on stream but far too many times I see people tell streamers to just talk about their surroundings or whatever. But tbh I think having good story telling skills is more important! And I think it’s a skill someone can learn! ( not me YET tho hehe) I think some people are naturally good at it but to be able to make a story interesting and engaging is really important when it comes to streaming! Also improv skills are really important too!! Yes yes, I wanna see more advice that isn’t just “yap and make sure there isn’t any dead air!”
