@pareshmotiwala This happens, say when you are connected to a SQL server instance through VPN, and now you’ve disconnected VPN, and try to close SSMS. Since it can’t find a connection, this dialog pops up. Looks like a recent addition to SSMS.

#sqlhelp #sqlfamily. Anybody see this? most of the time when I close a query(simplest of them) I get this.

@SQLGene I am afraid so. You could be out if lateral flow test is -ve on day 5 and 6, but you could still miss the flight.

Trying to do some travel planning for SQLBits. It looks like the worst case scenario is take a test 2 days before flying, test negative, arrive, test positive, have to quarantine for 10 days. gov.uk/guidance/how-t… 1/2

#sqlhelp Able to test a connection to a secure data source (DB2) with Certificate Common Name in the connection string from the desktop - by creating a .udl file. But the same connection string throws an error when used to create a linked server from within SSMS. Thoughts?

@BuckWoodyMSFT Did you try putting it in containers? People believe that gives it magical powers. If not pizza, you’ll at least get some popcorns. From potatoes, of course.

@Transmokopter Wife and I haven't been feeling well this past week, and took my wife in on Friday and she was positive, and so I was tested yesterday and was also positive... So yeah, just as awful if not more...

Next week I won't leave the house much. 13-year old got C19 test result today and both me and E have symtoms. We're not very sick but will of course do family quarantine. Me and E do our test tomorrow. Month 14 of 2020 turns out to be just as awful as Months 3-13 were.
