Federal workers are already staring down the barrel of 40,000 job cuts, and now Carney wants to force them back into the office four days a week. It will make it harder for the public service to recruit and retain talent, it could cost up to $6 billion and it’s a slap in the face to workers that undermines ongoing negotiations. Federal workers - like all workers - deserve to be treated with respect. Halifax plans to buy 33 Robie properties by fall 2026 for a 2nd bus lane. An April report said they have about half of the properties so far. The cost for this portion of land acquisition alone is ~$64m. Wonder what it is now? @hkryan17 @CompletedStreet
