🚨Never give up on a "dead" video too early. Look at this screenshot. For the first 22 hours, this Short was sitting at a painful 7 views. It looked completely dead on arrival. Instead of deleting it or moving on, I decided to change the title and the description. The algorithm immediately re-indexed it, pushed it out, and it shot straight to over 1,000 views with 95% of the traffic coming directly from the Shorts feed. If your Short flatlines on Day 1, the packaging (title/description/tags) failed to trigger the initial algorithmic push. Changing the title gives YouTube a fresh data point to re-test your video with a new audience. Disclaimer: This isn’t a magical 100% fix that works for every single video out there. But I just tested this exact strategy with two completely different clients, and it worked flawlessly for both of them to revive a flatlined upload. Next time your video drops a dud in the first 24 hours, don't delete it. Fix the title and let the algorithm give it a second life.
