I attended a wedding recently. The Save the Date, official invitation, and reminder texts all stated guests are to wear ALL BLACK COCKTAIL ATTIRE.
One woman was in green. She asked me in the ladies’ room if there was a dress code, I told her yes. She was a plus one and her date only told her to wear a nice dress. She was the only one in attendance who wasn’t in black.
She was beautifully dressed, but still, HE should have told her. Details are important, fellas.

Rowling's wizarding world is a remarkable blend of how children view the world (a bank stores gold coins! Prison is a scary island!) and a sharp and encompassing critique of 20th century British society:
old school networks, the class system, treatment of servants and lower classes, corruption and cronyism, a frothing tabloid media, an arcane judiciary, shorttermist and self-serving politicians, meddling in schools, a Byzantine civil service obsessed with trivialities, etc

@TheMindScourge But the backup camera is more useful for backing out of a parking stall because it gives you a view around the vehicles beside you as soon as you start to emerge. When you drive forward out of a parking stall you're completely blind to the left and right until you get past them.

The underrated and true explanation for why more people are backing into parking spots is that more cars now have backup cameras, good-sized screens, guidelines for where your car is headed, and automatic parking
It’s harder to backup without all these things, so people naturally are more reluctant to do it (reversing out of a parking spot is easier because you’re headed into a less restricted space)
