A growing concern in many healthcare systems today is the unequal treatment of patients based on their method of payment, particularly those relying on medical insurance. Increasingly, insured patients are being treated as lower priority compared to cash-paying patients in many health centres and hospitals. This disparity raises serious ethical and professional questions about fairness, access, and the integrity of healthcare delivery. One of the major contributing factors to this issue is the delayed reimbursement from insurance companies. Hospitals often experience long waiting periods before receiving payment for services rendered to insured patients. As a result, some healthcare providers become reluctant to attend promptly to these patients, viewing them as financially inconvenient. Instead, priority is frequently given to cash-paying individuals who provide immediate revenue, creating a system where urgency is influenced not by medical need, but by payment method. Corruption further exacerbates the problem. In some cases, there are allegations that hospital staff deliberately delay or complicate the treatment process for insured patients in hopes of encouraging out-of-pocket payments. This undermines trust in the healthcare system and places vulnerable patients at even greater risk, especially those who rely entirely on insurance coverage for their medical needs. Another troubling practice is the tendency for hospitals to redirect patients to affiliated private pharmacies. Patients are often told that prescribed medications are unavailable within the hospital, only to be directed to specific external pharmacies—sometimes owned or connected to the same healthcare providers. This raises concerns about transparency, conflict of interest, and potential exploitation, as patients may end up paying higher prices unnecessarily. These issues collectively point to a systemic problem that requires urgent attention. Healthcare should be guided by principles of equity, compassion, and professionalism—not financial bias. Addressing delays in insurance settlements, strengthening regulatory oversight, and enforcing ethical standards in medical practice are essential steps toward restoring fairness and trust in healthcare systems. Patients, regardless of how their treatment is financed, deserve equal respect, timely care, and honest service.

Man, Ugandans are crazy, while those in Uganda act like that, those who got the opportunity to be a few steps away to Silicon valley, instead of learning skills to bring back to their country and empower others, they changed their sexuality and chose to be drilled. And somehow they tho that they are better than those they left home!
