@AdrianHochmann @EmanuilIvanov72 I transferred my account to IBKR specifically to trade 24x5
English

@EmanuilIvanov72 Hey Emanuil😊,
Are you by any chance at Ibkr? I see often comments along the lines of "bought xyz in after hours"
How do you make shure your buy orders go through?
I enable aht but I never had a order filled and missed out on substantial gains. Any tips?
English

@alojohhardcore Why such the sudden movement? I didn’t believe Lumentum was a buy soonest stock. I took it as a buy into it over the next 6 months and hold for a while. Obviously, my mistake.

@JackBSpade I don’t. He is an A hole. Too full of himself. Thinks he knows everything. He knows sh**. Just guessing and got a few times lucky.

Micron casually up yet another 4% in pre-market. Reminds me a lot of Nvidia's and Tesla's greatest days.
Wonder whether Micron overtakes Tesla later this year in market value. 🤔
Micron makes over 10x the earnings so wouldn't surprise me. But then, don't underestimate Tesla's mighty multiple!

@alojoh Great comment, how's the nasa program doing on cost, cadence, and technology. I love clown posts. How's Ford and GM doing in the EV space?

After reviewing SpaceX's S1 filing we can definitively say that SpaceX's lifetime investment (Capex+R&D) in space technologies amounts to $20 billion to $25 billion. In other words, with the benefit of 2026/2027 technology, a follower should be able to replicate SpaceX's current launch capability, including Starship, for the same or less investment.
Also, the many publicly available technical details and SpaceX design choices should meaningfully cut down trial/error cost of any follower.

@AtulShrestha @alojoh @bryan_johnson You can approach it in steps. I started by not eating anything after dinner until breakfast the next morning. Once that becomes routine start delaying breakfast further out maybe an hour or more until it becomes routine. Rinse…repeat. Pretty soon you’ll be at 16-18 hours.
English

@alojoh @bryan_johnson I need to work on my food consumption habit. Will work on fasting.
I used to do that but now haven fallen back to bad habits.

@bala_muppala @alojoh AJ is all signal. This is why I joined the HCC and AJ is the reason I’ve been calm during down days. More importantly, my portfolio is ⬆️
English

@alojoh it’s not even a point to mention, are you not adding to the noise?

@NoContextHumans 18% tip was already added to the bill. The customer was kind enough to add $7 more. Greedy server IMO.

Wow. I went on a similar diet after my last lipid panel results came back with an LDL of 192. Three months before that it was 167. My doctor wanted me on a Statin immediately but I refused. This sudden jump was because of my diet which was high on saturated fats and sugar despite I only drink water, am lean, exercise regularly and I fast intermittently (16 hours). 8 weeks after starting the new diet, my LDL dropped to 108 and ApoB dropped from 141 to 84.

3 months ago my cardiologist told me that I needed to go on statins NO MATTER WHAT
He was wrong. I’m living proof.
I share my story in case it might help others who find themselves in a similar situation 👇
(And please note I’m not here to say all modern medicine is a scam, but doctors don’t always have your best interests or individual situation in mind)
First the number:
> 203 <
Note I didn’t say numberS
They literally diagnosed me based on my LDL “bad cholesterol” of 203 mg/dL alone
Because if it is > 190mg/dL they automatically assume it’s genetics, and they call it Familial Hypercholesterolemia
The problem is that they don’t actually run a test to confirm
They don’t even ask about your diet (which you’ll soon see what the primary driver for my high cholesterol)
So my doctor told me I needed to IMMEDIATELY go on a heavy dose of 80mg of Rosuvastatin combined with Ezetimibe and he made sure to tell me I’d be ON THESE PILLS FOR LIFE
And he used scare tactics saying that there wasn’t a moment to lose
But the worst part of it was that he even said my 5 kids should be tested and they may also need to be put on statins (my wife thought this part was aggressive)
But the one good thing about healthcare is that you don’t have to always listen to your doctor
Always be your own advocate
And listen to your gut if something doesn’t seem right
So I told them I’m going to take 3 months and then another lipid panel before I signed up for the big pharma for life track
My daily regimen included:
- 6g beta-glucans (1c. oats or bran)
- 5g psyllium husk
- Lots of plant sterols (e.g. moringa leaves from my yard)
- 6oz. salmon
- whole grains and legumes
- 30 minutes of cardio
- 30 minutes of strength training
- Drastically reduced my saturated fat intake
- ZERO ALCOHOL (duh)
My wife can attest to my religious, borderline superstitious, adherence to the plan
And now 3 months later I am proud to say that I successfully halved my LDL to 105 mg/dL from “Very High” to only a touch above “Desirable”
My total cholesterol is down over 30% and both my HDL and Triglycerides improved favorably
Now I’m no doctor, but all signs point to my cholesterol being a result of my sustained keto diet and me being a LMHR (“Lean Mass Hyper Responder”) phenotype.
I hope that this reaches a few people in a similar boat.
I’m happy to share specifics for anyone who would find this helpful.
Shoot me a DM if you’d like to chat or share your situation below if you’re willing
