I got my wedding dress from Macys for $50. I did my own hair. My flowers were $5 fake stems. Our entire wedding cost less than $1500. No matter the event, frugality is cool kids.

@marcuslemonis A developing firm hiring folks that understand AI and how to integrate it into everyday mom and pop business - small firms. Me if I was not near 70, and not interested in a startup - but the field is wide open

@PatMcAfeeShow His attitude cost him - it shadowed his play. Mark this - he will make a team, and show the talent - but only if he STFU -and shows humility - otherwise - he is done.

I loved what Diego Pavia did for college ball.. just an absolute sensation. Turning Vanderbilt into a football school quickly. I think a lot of what made him fantastic for College was also gonna be what held him back as an NFL “prospect”.. Size, speed, style of play, personality.. you name it, all of it PERFECT for college not necessarily the prototypical NFL “prospect.” If he gets in a building and finds success I’d be pumped for him and his family.. NOW If it doesn’t work out.. is he not the UFL QB Blueprint? Recognizable name.. can move.. not scared to promote UFL’s getting 800,000 viewers a game, which is good for spring ball, can bump that a bit with some name brands aht there… I think we all assume the clips, regardless of outcome, would go for a bit. Feels like an opportune time for the UFL.. and for the Pavia show.

@walls_jason1 I don't know what it is you want to achieve with them - promote you or the business? It seems weak on both. good start, keep revising, and revising. Start with the end in mind, work back. I'll try one

I was just a kid, so maybe someone can explain to me how Ronald Reagan won 49 states in 1984? Especially when you look at where we are today.

@AndrewYang as many are finally realizing, you don't need a college education, you need a variety of skills and experiences that scale with the market. Learn to deal with ambiguity, to attack change, think for yourself, grow - that will take many to the promised land of success.

@SahilBloom Thank you for saying this SB. This must be a corollary to growing older and wiser. We become comfortable with ourselves and don't look outside for validation. When we do, it's with the few we trust. My few friends just chalk it up to the Grumpy old man syndrome.

I’ve become more introverted with age. But it’s not that I like people less. It’s just that I have higher standards for the depth of connection that I want with people. And lower tolerance for the surface transactional relationships that have become so common.

@SahilBloom Investing in myself after tiring of the medical world telling me that growing older was just that, and drugs were there to fix the issues. No more drugs, 5 days a week min cardio, weights, flex, warrior mentality.

@FranWalsh73 A very real situation - compounded when you have your own RMD's to manage. Roth conversion is not always the ideal path, and giving it away, may not be a path either. Short of just giving it to the Feds - planning's key.

Two siblings inherit the same $500k IRA. Same account. Same 10-year rule. One pays $277,000 in taxes. The other pays a fraction of that. The difference isn't luck - it's when they took the money. Here's the strategy ↓

Mark Cuban sold Broadcast dot com to Yahoo for $5.7 billion in 1999. He spotted the internet wealth transfer before most people had email. This time he quietly called the next one. “33 million companies in this country. No AI budgets. No AI experts.” Read that twice. He’s not talking about startups. He’s talking about the dentist with three locations. The freight broker in Memphis. The family manufacturer running on spreadsheets from 2011. They’ve heard of ChatGPT. That’s where it ends. For twenty years, software worked like a landlord. One product, millions of tenants, everyone pays rent and nobody gets to move the walls. AI flips the lease. The product can finally shape itself around the business instead of the other way around. Which opens a door nobody is talking about. Someone has to walk into these 33 million companies and do the work. Sit across from a 62-year-old owner, understand how his invoices move, hand him back a system that saves him 15 hours a week. That person is not going to come from OpenAI. Every smart 22-year-old right now is sprinting toward the same five labs. Cuban is pointing at the empty chairs in every other room. Here’s the arbitrage: you don’t need to train a model. You need to know one industry cold and speak fluent AI. The last time this setup existed was 1999. Every small business needed a website and almost nobody local knew how to build one. The operators who figured out dentists, restaurants, and contractors built agencies that printed money for a decade. This time the ceiling is ten times higher. 33 million companies. A handful of people who can help them. The math does the rest. Cuban saw the gap first. Whoever moves next owns the decade.

It Took GM More Than 28,000 Failed V8s And Three Internal Investigations Before Recalling Its L87 Engines, the standard engine in Escalades, High Country Silverados, full-size Denalis, the trucks that people spend the big bucks on. Seems these engines have defective crankshafts causing catastrophic engine failure. Over the past six or so years, owners of high-trim half-ton GM trucks and SUVs have reported engines conking out, sometimes at alarmingly low mileage. Glad to hear these engines are finally getting recalled, but its going to take quite a while to get all those engines replaced

If you want to stand out, just do the old fashioned things well: - Be on time - Be well read - Practice good posture - Look people in the eye - Do what you say you'll do - Have a confident handshake Few live up to this standard. It will never go out of style.

@kneeovertoesguy @ATGExercise I added this to my "stuff" have found it a positive move to the rehab of old knees. Usually do it in rotation with the opposite movement - bent knees single leg, with a 20lb weight heel up (or whatever you call them)
