@EFHutton123 @CaryKelly11 False. If you feed your children real food from the get go, they learn how to avoid choking quickly. Our second never had baby food, and never gagged let alone choked. Our first, we fell into the baby food trap, and switching to real food was confusing and led to a few scares.

This is such a delightful post from @waitbutwhy and hits on something that so many people say once they have kids: “I never knew I’d love my children so much.” “My” being the important word. There’s truth in “Hell is other people’s children.” It’s why so many people think they won’t be obsessed with their own. So many great tips in here already. All I can add is: try to learn to harness it as a superpower, because it truly is. But you have to be honest about your weaknesses as well. And don’t get addicted to the meds. They’re a trap. You can be just as productive, but more importantly, much happier without them in the long term.

I am at a loss for words to meteorologically describe you the storms small eye and intensity. 897mb pressure with 180 MPH max sustained winds and gusts 200+ MPH. This is now the 4th strongest hurricane ever recorded by pressure on this side of the world. The eye is TINY at nearly 3.8 miles wide. This hurricane is nearing the mathematical limit of what Earth's atmosphere over this ocean water can produce.
