As for facial recognition software, yeah good point lol but hey tbf that wasn’t a thing for the majority of the time the character has existed, so at this point I guess they just ignore it.

@horrormuseum Saw him in The After Party and thought he was so good and didn’t realize till later that I’d seen him in a whole bunch of things! That’s the sign of a great actor to me, when I don’t even realize that I’m watching the same person in different movies and shows.

Definitely watch this! This is the perfect example of what it's like to be an actor or be in entertainment. And he's so humble about it, but very truthful.

We’ve legit lost the plot. I honestly have zero idea what people are looking for these days, we needs a major shift in criticism. The movie I saw was well written, well directed, beautifully shot, insanely well performed & the sound was amazing. Are we “film” critics or not?

@mattvanswol This is still my experience at Walmart, no matter where I am in the country. If anything, stores have gotten MORE calm and quiet since more people shop online.

The most radicalizing content on the internet is old footage of Americans shopping in stores 25 years ago. It's calm, quiet, civil, no fighting, no screaming, no phones, it's not overly crowded. You can't quite describe it, but you miss it so deeply.

@Supermanfan_49 I hate to admit it because of, y’know, all the stuff, but to this day I think Spacey was the best cinematic Lex Luthor. All respect to Gene Hackman and Nicolas Hoult and (I guess) Jesse Eisenberg, but Spacey nailed the role in a way I don’t think has been matched.

@BDisgusting No reason to even do this besides name recognition. It’s just going to be like any other zombie movie that was inspired by NotLD. That said, I’m surprised it didn’t happen all the time since it’s public domain.

@bradmiska What an experience that was renting it from my local video store back in the day, only knowing it from people talking about it in the same breath as Cannibal Holocaust. Definitely worth a watch, if only for the history of it.

@DreadCentral I always preferred this one to the remake, actually! Felt more of the oppressive Texas summer heat and it felt grittier as opposed to the sort of glossiness of the remake. Not that that’s a bad movie either, it rules, but I like The Beginning more.
