One domain name sold and one is still on hold. I'm not much of a "team" player when it comes to sharing my own sales data, but I will share this. Both of these 2 word .com domain names had the word "Team" at the beginning. There was no connection between the second words.

This this still holds true. Last year I bought a bunch of .coms on some promo for $6-7 a piece It was also a test of sort and I didn't intend to renew any of them unless they passed the test I didn't reduce the price even at expiry and One just sold at expiry for 2K

I have held ColdRoom.com and ColdRooms.com for over a decade. I checked my record, there hadn't been any interested buyers inquiring about these two domain names for nearly 8 years. I had almost forgotten they were still in my portfolio. Then a few days ago, a buyer purchased the plural version directly at the BIN price on @afternic and 3 days later, the same buyer bought the singular version at the BIN price as well. An interesting transaction.

not a great overall pace but i was going pretty fast during (until i got winded and had to rest) also sold a domain for $7,500 during this run 😤

@Name__Groove It seems to me the alt tld’s are keeping you down. If you had all handreg .coms and achieved a 1% STR, that could be enough to be profitable! I would clean house and get rid of all ‘bad’ purchases. I’m no legend, but I am more profitable (so far). Thanks for sharing, much luck!

Atom Marketplace Update: 2 years into 3 yr test with Atom = down $5.3k 💩 Folio popularity remains high yet STR has dropped🥴 Notes: (i) dramatically grew com folio via hand regs which have lowered STR since younger coms have lower STR vs mature coms. Possible as they age STR may rise. (ii) carry costs of alt TLDs coupled with the reality alt TLDs have lower STR (compared to com) are tough. I'll consider raising prices of alt TLDs to mitigate carry costs/lower STR and wholesale SLDs that cannot support higher price points. (iii) net loss includes names sold via Afternic cross marketing which may have occurred without Atom (no way to know - but I assume a portion of these sales would've occurred regardless). This would make Atom's performance even worse than shown. To do: (i) Use the Atom wholesale marketplace to bring in add'l revenue and shrink folio size. (ii) Stop adding to Atom Premium folio. Notes to self: (i) Atom accepts too many names and this fools me into carrying the name year over year since it's premium "curated". Atom Premium curation gains eyeballs, but has not lifted STR or sale price. Ignore premium curation when identifying whether name is worthy of renewal. (ii) reconsider using brandable marketplaces for ccTLDs. None of my 150 premium curated ccTLD's have sold on either Brandable marketplace in 2 years. Just one .ai, .io, or .gg sale on either platform gets me close or to breakeven, but so far, no life whatsoever for my ccTLDs on the brandable marketplaces (sold one on Spaceship). Allow test to complete, but pull ccTLDs off brandable marketplaces and swap to Spaceship if no ccTLD sales in 3rd and final year of test. For comparison, during same 2 yr period, I sold 2 .com's on BrandBucket for $4,085 in revenue with a smaller folio. I'm down $797 on BB over the same 2 yr timeframe 😧 #atom #str #domainstats #brandbucket

Removed all my domains from @atomHQ few months back ..... Recently put few domains again to give it a try .... It seems that they are moving backwards... Entire dashboard is a mess .... Am I the only one to think so? Is Atom working for you guys? #Domain #domains

@DInvesting Maybe try to make an offer? Just because it’s listed at those prices doesn’t mean the seller won’t go down

I keep coming back to a domain name. It is listed for more than $50k on @GoDaddy and less than $25k on @Sedo. Many smaller brands exist on the SLD, but I am unsure if it will be worth the amount I'd want for it if I bought it.

@ishmilly Downsized to just 250 domains and just sold one for 3500, so at least my renewals are covered 😄 now looking to expand slowly again
