It’s sad she felt this way about herself but it couldn’t have been any other way because she wouldn’t have been such a great artist otherwise. She’s more beautiful than any hot girl nepo baby influencer with lip filler and ozempic birdchest because she’s a rare sort of person and not a moral loser. People will think I’m trolling or mentally ill or doing some evil internecine female competition thing but if you really think about it, you know it’s true.

I understand this is emotional and not accurate but there can be deep meaning in emotions. After all, we are emotional not rational beings, and if you ain’t serving others in some way, you’re a threat to yourself and society.

People w/o kids, i used to be you. Now, I’d never listen to a word that me said about anything. You, unfortunately, have nothing really to live for, and after a certain age, if you really, really do, I trust you even less. You don’t know it, but you’re a one dimensional cartoon.

Can I say something? When you engage in self-deprecating humor in the hopes of neutralizing your haters in advance, it doesn’t appease them, it makes them angrier. They can sense the joke is really a half-truth and instead of sympathizing with you, they smell blood. You’re basically eroding the boundaries between yourself and others and inviting them to intrude upon and violate you. Maybe that’s the dynamic you want, but you have to be up front about it.

I think that all the fuss over #HarryandMeghanNetflix proves one thing: Harry and Meghan are more interesting than the rest of the royal family put together. That must be incredibly hard to accept.

@SamHarrisOrg It should be up to courts/laws/etc to decide if someone should be removed from society. This is not the role for tech companies. It’s like shadow law enforcement in a way.

@NorainPdx @RUOKPage It’s an awkward word choice given the context in which she is using it. Case in point: Google “Dragon Lady +stereotype”, 4.1 million results. Google “Dragon Lady +archetype”, 68 results.

@JordanMac4ev @RUOKPage This proves nothing. Archetype is more accurate for what she is getting at - a mental model that operates in our unconscious and affects how we perceive and respond. Similar to the Jungian concept. It's also a much more poetic word, and infinitely superior for a title.

Here’s one definition of archetype: “a recurrent symbol or motif in literature, art or mythology.” There’s also a nice connection with Jungian concepts. Don’t come for her intelligence or education - it never ends well
