@TaskForce141GS LMAO no, heck majority nowadays seem to like Asian characters a lot more

Gamers will always choose white, blonde and American male characters above anything else.

What gaming opinion will you defend like this?🚀
English

@Friedemann_A Yh visually it's very stunning

I think Marathon looks great, huge props to the team. Super stylish art direction, animations and feedback look juicy, lots of lore. It's cool when these huge AAA titles take risks, hope it pays off for them!

I'm getting increasingly uncomfortable being active on this platform due to actions by Elon. I'd like to urge everyone to follow me on the other platform to stay in touch;

@Tectone Ai Had no part in making this game good lmao
English

If AI helps makes games as good as Clair Obscur
I want more AI in games.

The Indie Game Awards have disqualified Expedition 33 for the use of generative AI
English

@DanielLovesArt @kyselonmusk1 @NextGenPlayer Many games make use of copyrighted assets as placeholders to get the core feel and then replace it with their own stuff
That was their intent and since they replaced it, why make a fuss about it
English

@kyselonmusk1 @NextGenPlayer Yes, obviously it's okay to contribute towards resource waste and art theft for the sake of a placeholder texture, rather than roughly drawing one up. You're quite the clever one, aren't you?

I'll be completely honest and sincere.
When I started making games, I did it to help my mother have a better life.
We are poor and humble, and we face many basic needs such as not having the right to food or housing, access to medical treatment, and security.
However, unfortunately, my mother passed away before I could finish the game ToonSouls.
I don't dream of getting rich, and I don't wish to be rich.
I don't want to, nor am I naive enough to think that my game will be a Cuphead, as it's a much simpler game with limitations of time and money.
Some inhumane people are attacking me and trying to ruin my life.
I'm just a guy who has been working hard every day for years.
In any case, I want to make it clear that it's just a GAME, there are more important things in life than a GAME.
Believe me, I would give anything in life to have my mother alive here by my side, talking to her... there are more important things than a game...There is no need to be inhumane or immature...
Some people even feel offended that I dedicate this work to my mother and address the theme of life and death.Yes, the game's story will be about life and death, and the final boss will be LADY DEATH, the reaper of lives.
I don't care if someone doesn't like the game or doesn't like me, but just have respect.
If you didn't like the reflection on life and death, if you didn't like the game, that's fine, but there's no need to disrespect me or my mother's death. I'm not using my mother's death as marketing;
I'm making a game with love and passion and offering a deep reflection on life and death. Respect it, because it's something very beautiful and made with a lot of affection, since we will all be born and die. Therefore, the game's story will be a reflection on life and death. ❤
English

@ArturSmiarowski So he doesnt deny that the game is fun, lmao, they cant seem to escape their ideology rut
English

@pogal_pog @CodeRed_dev This is a big one for me
English

@CodeRed_dev Steam works multiplayer is also a big one. No longer are we in the world where people need to port forward and create small servers for people to play with their friends :)
English

@GGSunshiners @CodeRed_dev You can, not just your first game
English

@CodeRed_dev It's also really fuckin hard to do. Huge time commitment as well, higher chance of failure. lool.
You can make a great website in 3 months.
You cannot make a great game in 3 months.

Gamedev has an "I'm unemployed" vibe.
fidexCode@fidexcode
But why are people not interested in learning game development?
English

@thomasbrushdev it also explains why games like silent hill always stood out to me even though, i dont like horror games, but truly there are certain themes that can only be expressed through horror and as christians one shouldn't shy away from that.
At worse, ask God about it.
English

@thomasbrushdev and finally you drawing the line between something like midsommer and psycho is very important, because i think when someone like me thinks of horror, they think about psycho, which just feels very violent and gory for no reason.
English

I couldn't resist making this video. So, most of you know I'm a Christian. But I also make horror movies and games. I also LOVE watching (and talking about) horror. It's my favorite. I had to make a video about why I think it's not only okay, but it's important: youtu.be/5kDd_4M_V0o
