@BostonGlobe reparations are a pure racial grift, not justice. Impossible to know which are descendants from slaves vs freeman, or even those who migrated after slavery ended.

Boston’s reports on possible reparations are set to be released this fall. Here’s what we know now. trib.al/U3eZNXC

Good. We don’t need more warehouses to supercharge ICE’s kidnapping and disappearing. But this was clearly a waste of $700 million.
Yet another reason why Republicans should have never given ICE $70 billion more last week. We need to dismantle this entire agency. nytimes.com/2026/06/18/us/…

Indians have "trashed, gutted and torn apart American values"
Ofcourse they have. Indians stay away from drugs, their daughters are not on Only Fans, are heavily STEM oriented, do well in school, pay the highest taxes per capita, commit the lowest crime per capita, raise their kids conservatively, have nuclear families, the kids get married, reproduce and support their families in time.
Ofcourse this user is mad that Indians today are following the values of 1960s America and not modern America.

This could literally be solved with one fix:
Eliminate affordable housing mandates
Banks become more willing to finance projects, market-rate units don't get artificially jacked up to subsidize others, and older stock naturally becomes the new affordable housing.
We don’t need “affordable housing”. We need housing that’s affordable

The state’s own plan says Massachusetts needs 222,000 new homes by 2035 just to keep up with demand and help bring costs under control.
But right now, local opposition is slowing or stopping many projects in towns across the state.
A lot of communities simply don’t have the roads, schools, water, or sewer infrastructure ready to handle more housing. State local aid hasn’t kept pace with what towns actually need, and the answer can’t be to just raise property taxes on everyone. Too many families, seniors, and working people are already stretched thin and can’t afford another increase.
We need real solutions, including more state support for infrastructure, better local aid that doesn’t leave towns behind, and a balanced approach that respects communities while getting more homes built where they make sense.
This isn’t about one side or the other. It’s about making sure Massachusetts stays a place where our kids can afford to live and our towns can thrive.

@RaghavanTh1738 @TrueIndicAryan speaking of squatting and destroying the flora and fauna
x.com/BGatesIsaPysch…
Concerned Citizen@BGatesIsaPyscho
Fun fact:- over half of all outside defecation yesterday, today and tomorrow, will be done by Indians. This isn’t racist. It’s just the fact. What’s also a fact - is that western countries, especially Canada - are now erecting signs instructing people not to shit outside, especially at the Beach. Go figure.
English

@TheRealJLo @TrueIndicAryan Nope cupcake. You built squat. What you lot did was squat on Native American land and graped it. The consequences for local people, flora and fauna were catastrophic.

@SenMarkey These aren't your neighbors, they’re mine
I’m sick of politicians calling people who shouldn’t be here “neighbors” while you all live in gated communities, completely away from the daily reality the rest of us have to deal with.
I'm literally a foreigner in my own country.

@RepPressley This bill's dead on arrival in the Senate, and even if it somehow squeaks through, Trump already put out the veto threat. It's all virtue signaling.

Since my discharge petition to extend Temporary Protected Status for Haitians successfully passed the House, we’ve been pressing hard to advance this fight.
We're ready to double down in the Senate and defend the safety, dignity, & humanity of Haitian neighbors once & for all.

A bill set to be introduced by Senator Ed Markey and Delaware Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester would grant people from Haiti humanitarian legal protections shielding them from deportation until after President Trump completes his term in office in 2029. trib.al/3Fhxkh6
