@True_Zenith @JeremiahDJohns You mean a study on the neurobiological effects of addiction? Yeah, that’s certainly a waste of money since nobody in the US is affected by addiction. 🙄

This is the true legacy of DOGE - the utter decimation of medical research. MAGA idiots will try to tell you this is just cutting DEI programs. Keep in mind DOGE was filled with such idiots they killed physics grants that mentioned 'polarization' (of light) because of "DEI".

FBI Chief Suing @TheAtlantic for accusing him of being a drunk is a tough fan hitter to counter. @PrivateEyeNews used to call me 'thirsty' when I was Editor of The Sun and I took legal advice. Went to see George Carman. He took me for 'a quick snifter.' All a blur after that.... you have to laugh... 🤣 Oh the arrogance of the drinking alcoholic is hilarious.. the Eye was right about me then... and George... though Kash Patel may be innocent of course...

@JeffWin57756218 @SpecialPuppy1 Nothing in the constitution requires a state to allocate all its electoral college votes to the winner of the popular vote in that state

Would supporters of the Electoral College be okay with every state allocating electoral votes proportionally? For example, if Trump won 38% of the vote in California, he’d get about 21 of California’s electoral votes instead of 0. If not, why not?
James Surowiecki@JamesSurowiecki

There's no good civic argument for the electoral college. It was arguably necessary to ensure the ratification of the Constitution, but it's an anti-democratic device that gives some American citizens far more voting power than others, based purely on where they live.

I had received some questions about President @realDonaldTrump's recent posts, and here are my thoughts: I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ—that would certainly be inappropriate. I’m thankful the President has made it very clear that this was not at all what he thought the AI-generated image was representing—he thought it was a doctor helping someone, and when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post. When I looked at the illustration, I didn’t jump to the same conclusion as some. There were no spiritual references—no halo, there were no crosses, no angels. It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and I think this is a lot to do about nothing. There is so much ill-intended speculation. I think his enemies are always foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad. And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social yesterday, I must say that I like the fact that this is a picture of Jesus whispering in his ear, or at least His hand on his shoulder, guiding him. We all need that—we all need to be listening to Jesus. Again, I think there is an attempt to spin this into something that it isn’t. Remember, President Trump didn’t draw this, he didn’t create it, he reposted it on his social media because he thought it was nice—I would have to agree. I’m not a Catholic, I’m an evangelical, but I appreciate how President Trump has defended religious freedom for people of all faiths, including millions of evangelicals and Catholics in the U.S. and around the world. He is the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime, and he doesn’t shy away from it. I would hope that the President and Pope Leo can meet at some point, and that the Pope would have the opportunity to thank the President for his efforts to protect religious liberty for Catholics and people of all faiths.

JD Vance is more of a national disgrace by the day. He loves Orban and Putin. And hates Ukraine and freedom. Time and time again. He’s a compromised and corrupted sellout. And he does not speak for most of us here in America. And especially most American veterans—who appreciate the courage, tenacity, ingenuity and urgency of Ukraine. Vance does not stand with Ukraine. But most of us in America do.🇺🇸🇺🇦

1/2 Over thirty years teaching in academia in Oxbridge I have observed massive degree grade inflation. I have observed three main reasons: 1) Students do genuinely work harder than they used to. The world beyond graduation is genuinely much tougher.

I have always been an ardent supporter of President Trump and his crypto friendly policy. As an early supporter who invested heavily in World Liberty Financial, I did so because I believed in the vision that was presented to the public: a decentralized finance platform that would promote financial freedom, remove intermediaries, and bring the benefits of DeFi to mainstream Americans. What was never disclosed — to me or to any investor — is that World Liberty embedded a backdoor blacklisting function in the smart contract used to deploy WLFI tokens. This function gives the Company unilateral power to freeze, restrict, and effectively confiscate the property rights of any token holder, without notice, without cause, and without recourse. This is the opposite of decentralization. This is a trap door marketed as an open door. I denounce the ongoing token scandals by the bad actors at WLFI. I am the first and single largest victim, as a result of their wrongful blacklisting of my WLFI token wallet back in 2025, that violates basic investor rights and blockchain principles of fairness. Every action taken by the WLFI team to extract fees from users, to secretly implant backdoor controls over user assets, to freeze investor funds without disclosure or due process, and to treat the crypto community as a personal ATM — all of these actions are illegitimate and were never authorized by any fair, transparent, or good-faith community governance process. The governance votes cited to justify these actions were not conducted through a fair or transparent process. Key information was withheld from voters, meaningful participation was restricted, and the outcomes were predetermined. These votes do not represent the will of the community — they represent the will of those who designed them. These actions have nothing to do with me. They have nothing to do with the investors who believed the promises this project made. We oppose every one of these actions in the strongest possible terms. The WLFI team’s actions erode trust in the project. Unlock the tokens and uphold transparency for the community. Let’s build with integrity, not misconduct.
