The Russian Mir Space Station, now abandoned, breaks up over the Pacific Ocean near Fiji after 15 years in orbit. No piece hits the Taco Bell target. Taco Bell offers a consolation prize of (2) tacos for 99 cents. The high price frustrates the public.

@25YearsAgoLive 2 tacos for .99, that’s ridiculous! I can get like 10 tacos for $5-7. This isn’t really a deal…

ADHDer here. I don't resonate with much of this at all. Some of us are so busy out of our minds there's no time for depression. Therapy? for what? A normie to nod and relay patterns in your behavior you already know. This would suit ADHDers with some comorbidity of anxiety and depression as this guy likely has. Most ADHDers know themselves well they know they're wired differently. We CRAVE structure but we rebel against it. This is why many have fascinations with things related to planning, it has nothing to do with a stationery fixation. People will find they buy notepads, notebooks, planners (which all get misplaced) these represent hope for focus, change the regulation we need but don't want. Journalling?... we could be doing far more fun stuff Meditation?... see above but use spotify for meditation during sleep to hope the hz hit the brain to help. Meds make many of us quite limitless when it comes to focus. When dosed right we can genius all day. When it wears off the robot powers down and its exhausting. We can get a months work of a normal persons work in a day. Being under pressure also has this effect. We study at the 11th hour and can often succeed in doing so.. sometimes not. We overfill our schedule we overcommit. We promise to make amazing things because in those moments we can because we see our own potential but when we've already committed to many things those amazing things are always on hold. One idea is executed, 3 new ones take their place. I highly suspect this guy has his experience with depression confused with ADHD. We're out here most often bouncing around with a million ideas and not sitting in a corner journaling through tears. When you have ADHD and walk into a room or normal people you can feel youre different. The energy is different, Its like throwing a red skittle in with yellow ones. They sense this too. ADHD is a gift I would never trade. It is chaotic but it makes life far more interesting.

everybody over 30 should be drinking pomegranate juice. studies show it - reduces arterial plaque by 30%+ - reduces LDL oxidation susceptibility up to 90% - reduced blood pressure by 12% no pharmaceutical can do this. nature gives us everything we need.

@_dr_light_ @theralkia Move your hips side to side and in circles, at whatever pace your body feels called to either slowly, or fast. You can get in a position where you are bent on all fours and rock forward and back (type in somatic therapy in YT and you’ll see visual examples)

85% dark chocolate reduced negative emotions in 3 weeks (potentially by reshaping gut bacteria) In a 3-week RCT, higher cocoa content (~400mg polyphenols/day) reduced negative emotions and increased gut microbiome diversity.

probably the best book i've read on creativity. insanely high "value per word" ratio (only 65 pages long). impossible to find a physical copy, but digital copies do exist if you look.

IQ 170 pure math person explains a really complex topic, which IQ 150 person finds awesome but doesn't have time to engage with because busy with finance stuff, which IQ 140 takes a while to understand but when they finally grasp it, turns it into an explainer video so that IQ 130 people have the illusion of understanding and further dumb it down to the level where IQ 120 confidently asserts "ah, it was obvious" which makes IQ 110 midwits believe it was never a hard problem to begin with so IQ 100 people finally get the feeling of grokking it and explain it to IQ 170 who, mass of clenched sighs, mutters "that's... not even wrong" and stays up until 3am trying to figure out where it all went sideways, which leads them to a new, cleaner formulation... and the cycle repeats.

Here's how to actually be happier in 2026. -Surround yourself with optimists -Agmatine sulfate (safe ketamine) -L. Reuteri DSM 17938 and ATCC PTA 6475 (oxytocin) -4'DMA-7,8-DHF/alcar/rhodiola (pick one of these for starters) -Pick up a goal/something to accomplish/stand for -Define success -Log off social media unless you use them for work -Do something good for someone else (could also be a stray animal) once a week -Read history - HIIT outside (beta endorphins) -Stretch -Cold exposure -Provide the right building blocks such as zinc, P5P, B12, B5, B1, B9, B2, tyrosine, taurine, choline -No junk food, alcohol or weed -Spend more time outside -Semax (boosts BDNF and NGF) -Any form of magnesium besides oxide and citrate (enhances BDNF, supports synaptic plasticity, blocks glutamate excitotoxicity and promotes BBB stability). -Whole food vitamin E -Balance the O3:O6 profile of your diet -Acetyl-l-carnitine -Sweat daily if possible -Try TRE -Run a gut and hormonal panel (you can't "out-think" your way out of hypothyroidism for example)

Craziest part about finally "doing the work" Is that you realize it was easier to simply do the work than it was to feel bad about procrastinating 24/7 and live with the excuses You literally put more effort into avoiding success than the success would have taken Crazy

I ran out of collagen recently and switched to gelatin at night. I had already added 2 grams of extra glycine in the day with benefits but now sleep is very deep (without waking) from 10.30 to around 5-6am. Gelatin seemingly promoting better sleep than collagen.
