@TristanCorkPost @Ryanair Probably not. There's always some twat on a budget airline who thinks they are above the rules. Just restrict/ban drinking alcohol in airports.

Airline @Ryanair said it hopes the jailing of one of its passengers for being so drunk & abusive on the flight the pilot had to abort a landing approach into Bristol Airport serves as a warning to others not to get drunk & fly Full story here: bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-n…

@TristanCorkPost Says the REACH journo, who has to do what his pay master says. @BristolLive is a joke. Full of click bait crap and over sensationalist headlines. But then that's what your senior managers tell you to do, isn't it. Gotta get them clicks in 🤡

What industry do you work in? Scaffolding? running a pub? Accountancy? Driving instructor? Imagine if the BBC decided to open in direct competition with yours, but with no need to balance its books & basically limitless funding.

No, David Garmston, we do NOT pay our licence fee for the BBC to have an unregulated written-word news website. The licence fee is for excellent TV & radio, given the BBC is the British Broadcasting Corporation…

@TristanCorkPost Put more buses on!!! Seriously??? On a road system that cannot come with what it already has to? What utter drivel. You obviously do not know Bristol one bit 🤡

Answers to the question ‘what would help buses arrive on time’ does not contain the blindingly obvious answer - ‘put on more buses’

@TristanCorkPost Stay informed 🤣 Knew this months ago, from a respected journalist, unlike you and your fellow REACH 'so called' journalists. The nonsense you spout, all to appease your REACH paymasters, is staggering.

The big changes to Bedminster Bridge - new plans from the council show the traffic flows, no-turns, new cycle lanes, bus lanes and pavements. I took a deep dive into this & worked out where drivers will and won't be able to go when this is done. bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-n…

The oldest gorilla in the UK, Bristol Zoo's silverback Jock, has died, just two weeks after moving to a new home. Everyone at the zoo who has looked after him for years is devastated Full story here: bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-n…

More everyday small examples of Bristol’s broken public transport system: Bedminster: @travelWESTeng signs say ‘bus stops suspended’. They’re not. First Bus drivers stopping wondering where all the passengers have gone. Does WECA actually want people to travel by bus?

@LaurseyXO It's ok. I've got real friends, not make-believe ones. But hey, guess what? The line was open as soon as it was SAFE to open it, and oh look...it turns out the problem was under the footpath along the sea wall, not under the railway. So, no drama required 😅

We're sorry for the impact that flooding caused by Storm Chandra is having on our customers. Following Storm Ingrid, a large sink hole has appeared between Dawlish and Teignmouth and this will need to be filled. The railway line between Exeter St Davids and Newton Abbott will therefore need to be closed between 19:00 on Wednesday 28 January and 07:00 on Thursday 29th January, to allow this work to take place. Online journey planners are being updated to reflect the changes and customers should check carefully at GWR.com/check before they travel. For more information please visit gwr.com/storm-chandra

@WDWKidani This has all been going on since Friday yet today, and I'm guessing you have a flight to catch, you decide to make your journey and question how you are getting there! How about being more prepared given the obvious circumstances!?

@GWRHelp This is unacceptable. A 2 hour gap in service due to pre planned engineering works, not on this route, I hasten to add. Nice to see GWR looking after its passengers!

@GWRHelp Good try! The 2045 dep is a Cross Country service routing this journey via Taunton. Hence, the long journey time. GWR has no service for 2hrs. Why?

@changeatreading Hi there, thank you for getting in touch. I'm afraid the 2045 service has been cancelled this evening, due to a shortage of train staff. I do apologise for this - Rose

@TristanCorkPost Why debate it? More time and money wasting. Just take them down. If you want to fly a flag, put a pole up in your own garden.

In Feb 2020 something curious happened in Bristol: a single massive lightning bolt hit the city at exactly 9pm. 400,000 people experienced a huge white flash & deafening bang: the only lightning to come from a squally cloudburst. Many said it hit near them bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-n…
