@nedXdev @HansAmato When you sell the solution you're not interested in sharing it in an article, even a long form one. Your only goal is to invent and agitate a problem, then hint you can solve it for some money.

@HansAmato Claims gut is the issue. Criticizes using supplements, but then only suggests a few supplements as fixes. Leaves out any info about healing the gut. What am I missing here?

@robably__ GSAP/ScrollTrigger timelines are totally reversible. You’d be surprised how easy the reverse part is after you’ve worked out the actual animation. Very cool tech.

@uchy20_ @jamesm @learnframer @framer The guy is something alright. Crediting does not give this guy permission or even a fair use right to redistribute James’ client work. As a matter of fact the remix distribution mechanism likely gives James legal recourse if he wanted. Welcome to the grown up world.

@creativedev @jamesm @learnframer @framer The guy is a legend. He always credits the authors. Things shared on the internet will be copied. If you don’t want it copied or public, don’t share it. Welcome to the internet.

@jamesm @learnframer @framer He included a remix link, so now you’ll see it all over just copy/pasted. This guy really should be stopped. He’s done this for years now.

@learnframer @framer Not sure how I feel about this. I appreciate you taking the time to explore how it could be built, but this was designed specifically for client work and I’d prefer it not to be copied exactly. At the very least, you could have changed the design a bit. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Life update: 6 months of consistent workouts. I’m stronger than I’ve been since my 20s. More energy. Only lost 6 lbs but converted between 11-15% of my body fat into muscle. And I’m starting to look jacked in the mirror, hints of a Chad bod in there still under a bit of fluff.😂

@GregKara6 @levelsio This is a lot of text to write when clearly what he’s doing is working for him. $200k/m seems like a decent hill to die on. I’m technical, but I think we pick dumb shit to care about too often.

File size can not be directly compared to memory, that’s not at all how this works. Assuming your vs-code fork of choice uses Monaco for rendering (it does) A raw text file sitting on disk is 1.4MB, sure. But when Monaco (the engine behind VS Code) opens that file, it doesn’t just dump bytes into a buffer. It builds a whole constellation of data structures on top of it a tokenizer runs across all 40k lines for syntax highlighting, it constructs bracket pair mappings, computes code folding ranges, builds the minimap representation, maintains models for autocomplete and IntelliSense, tracks decorations, and keeps undo/redo history. The actual memory footprint can balloon to 10-50x the raw file size depending on the language and extensions loaded. But even more than memory, the real problem is CPU and rendering. Every keystroke in a 40k line file can trigger retokenization of surrounding blocks, revalidation from linters and language servers, and layout recalculations. PHP is especially heavy here because language servers like Intelephense have to reparse a massive AST. The editor can start lagging on every character typed, not because you ran out of RAM, but because the event loop is getting choked. Bad hill to die on lol

I am very very very very concerned about the current state of developers When they think the average computer with 16 GB of RAM cannot open a 1.4 MB PHP file May AI save us all

@levelsio Genuine question, but isn't the file too heavy when you open it in your editor? I mean, even in terms of CPU usage?

@linuz90 People miss the satiating effect of eating a larger % of calories as protein. I have a protein shake and a slice of toast with a bit of peanut butter on it every morning and I'm full until like 2pm. It's crazy. I've recomped 12% of my body fat into lean mass in 6 months with it.

I eat 2 eggs per day, maybe 1 steak per week, then chicken fish tofu etc. as other protein sources. Yogurt with some granola in the afternoon. No whey, no meat everyday etc. And 2 cubes of chocolate every day because I love it 😂 And yet I’m getting the results in the image below (thanks @openclaw for the charts). I feel like in the tech bubble there’s some overthinking around diets/workouts. Just training 3 times per week and eating between 1.5g and 2g of protein per kg of bodyweight has really changed my body (I’m getting visibly more muscular, so not losing lean mass). But nutritionist + PT have been key for accountability and consistency.

Essentially you HAVE to eat 2x massive 300g steaks + 6 eggs every single day if you want do it naturally without protein powder

@ryanflorence Yeah I don't get it. Let's be real, this is just a bunch of people with weird "my job is my identity" mindsets that want to virtue signal on the internet. Meanwhile, I don't see a single one of the laid off people complaining. Adam was super clear with them I guarantee it.

Some people think because a small employer once provided a person with a livelihood it is now their obligation to pay them FOREVER, until they drain all savings, liquidate all assets, and then finally, without a penny left to their name, they are morally allowed to lay them off
Dmitriy Kovalenko@neogoose_btw

You boss be like: Company times are tough we are deeply sorry, revenue numbers going doing we have to let you go. You are laid off. Your boss’s tweet tomorrow:
