So. Yesterday I received a DM on Instagram from a very prominent director. Mostly known for animated movies, and someone who rose to fame in the 90s with one of the highest-grossing films of all time. Here was the message: “The short film is terrific. I would love to learn more about your process. Which tools, etc. Let me know if you’d be willing to share.” Someone who genuinely loves animation. Someone who helped establish the medium many of you care deeply about. Someone who has spent decades pushing storytelling forward. Curious about AI. Respectful of the work. Interested in understanding how it’s done. If people at that level can approach this with curiosity instead of fear, I’m pretty sure the rest of us can manage to do the same.

Train Dreams might not have won any awards last night. But this film is like an antidote to our dopamine-addicted world. Slow down your scroll for a moment and just sit with this for a moment. Here’s to the slow work of beauty in transforming the human heart.

In my appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast, I gave Steven Bartlett a fascimile copy of Papyrus 46 — our earliest evidence of a collection of Paul’s letters. In that particular manuscript page it contained a section of Romans 12. Take a look at P46 on the updated @CSNTM website collections.csntm.org/manuscripts/MN….

I firmly believe that we can literally feel the amount of handmade human care put into something. That’s why the old animated films often feel like they have more “soul.” That is the expression of human care you’re sensing. I hope we don’t lose this.

Built a full finance ops agent for a land company today. Connected their Airtable, Brex, and QuickBooks. Runs daily financial briefings, calculates commission splits, flags overdue items. Ship-to-live in one afternoon. First Clawsourcing client and honestly? This is the most fun I've had in a while.

⚡️You are not here to feel good. You are here to become real. Rock bottom is the moment the old self can no longer pay for its own lies. The performance collapses. The cope collapses. The identity you used to survive stops working. That feels like death because it is a kind of death. The deepest part is this. The pain is trying to carve you into shape. Suffering turns destructive when it drives you into isolation, pushes you into lying, numbs you out, hardens you, and makes you quit on yourself and others. Suffering turns transformative when it strips away your excuses, forces you into honesty, and pressures you to choose your character on purpose. So if you are at the edge, hear this. Your life is a vote about what reality is. Every time you choose truth over the easy lie, you vote. You are building a soul the way you build a muscle. Under load. Under pain. Under repetition. You do not get one heroic moment. You get a thousand small refusals to surrender to the void. Do one thing today that restores agency. Tell one person the truth. Clean one corner. Take the walk. Eat the meal. Make the call. The real enemy is the story that says nothing matters. Do not let that story write your ending.

To any who survived rock bottom… what’s one piece of advice you’d give a someone who feels like giving up right now?

@VigilantFox Disagree. I’m from Minneapolis. I can be upset at unlawful fraud AND unlawful and reckless “law enforcement”

@the_jefferymead "basic identity protection"? You're describing it as if masked militia is the norm for Law Enforcement best practices.

LAPD says it won’t enforce California’s idiotic ban on federal agents wearing masks. Think about that. The state wants to strip immigration agents of basic identity protection while activists are actively trying to dox them, threaten them, and attack them. Why do this? To make enforcement harder. Dox agents, scare their families, discourage people from becoming agents, reduce manpower, reduce deportations. Fewer deportations means more illegal immigrants staying put, boosting census numbers, House seats, and electoral votes. It’s not about safety or rights. It’s about stopping enforcement for political gain.

Absolutely CHILLING. THIS is the Democrat party, folks. Here's George Soros-backed Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner. He publicly declared that Democrats will “hunt down” @ICEgov agents when @realDonaldTrump leaves office: “If we have to hunt you down the way they hunted down Nazis for decades…we will find your identities!” Make sure everyone in America sees this. These people are out of control. @RealTomHoman @DHSgov @TheJusticeDept @TuckerCarlson

@VigilantFox It's a false binary. It does not have to be EITHER ... a) A 100% organic authentic (i.e. not one external influence) ... OR ... b) 100% manufactured Left-induced chaos. That's unnecessarily totalizing thinking IMO.

Joe Rogan notices that everyone has forgotten about Minnesota’s fraud scandal ever since the anti-ICE riots broke out. “This isn’t organic.” “This is a very coordinated thing.” Joe Rogan called what’s going on in Minneapolis a “color revolution,” which he described as a “coordinated effort to cause chaos.” He asked why riots are only happening in Minneapolis while, coincidentally, “an ungodly amount has been discovered.” “This isn’t organic,” Rogan asserted. “The idea that this is an organic protest, these riots are organic is nonsense. It’s provably nonsense,” Rogan said, citing the “ICE Watch” Signal chats that revealed coordinated efforts to track down ICE agents.

More than half of Americans want not just violent criminal aliens deported, they want all illegal aliens deported. We had an election. We voted. The immigration hardliners won. You don’t like that, you fight it at the ballot box. What you don’t do is create an underground network of paid agitators to interfere with law enforcement and risk peoples lives.

"Take off their masks. End their immunities. Limit their jurisdiction. Restrain their tactics. All of this can be done through legislation without inhibiting humane immigration enforcement. And if it’s done correctly, legislative reform can lead to greater accountability across the whole of government." nytimes.com/2026/01/26/opi…

@Jason @EricRWeinstein @CruelPhilosophr Confident, consistent BOTH/AND messaging is the way. These messages are made all the more potent when we hold our own "side" accountable to the high expectations rightfully associate with the mantle of leadership.

@EricRWeinstein @CruelPhilosophr The plan is actually easy, just speak up and say, "I believe in non-violent protests AND police officers de-escalating situations by default. Both parties are failing at those two basic American principles."

If you are wondering why I have said so little about Minnesota, I can all but assure you that many of you would find what I would have to say pretty upsetting. Let’s start here: I think we are moving away from rule of law and towards executing people in the streets under FAFO, and that there are many in the streets who are revolutionaries *currently* cosplaying at Non-Violent Civil Disobedience. There. That should be enough to piss off everyone on a team giddly dragging us towards armed civil conflict. You know who you are. I don’t want armed civil political conflict. I just don’t. In the U.S.? Have we lost our minds.
