@dmcgco Yes and no. Great to collect feedback in context. Super hard to keep track of it all. It’s scattered all over the canvas and you have to pan and zoom to find the little faces. Would love a “review mode” where you can line up all the affected art boards and resolve 1 by 1

Was Figma comments the best or worst thing to happen to the design feedback process?

@makisuo @paper Fine tuning by hand is really a game changer. Seems unlikely to make a difference, but once it clicks it feels like magic.

Crazy how good @paper is. I used to always design in code which works great but makes it hard to tune in details across pages and tune the overall design system. Over the last few weeks have started to primarily design in paper via their MCP with finetuning by hand it's crazy how well it works. Really wish they had Variables and Components like Figma though

@jeffberezny @DannPetty @figma I totally agree. I’ve been saying the same thing to people at work. Unless Figma successfully rearchitects their stack, I’m not sure they make it. Been paying a lot of attention to @paper for this exact reason.

I don't understand why AI tools that generate real code are trying to put things into Figma where it is in a less usable and production-ready format. I love @figma , but sadly I think their custom interface and .fig files are going to be near obsolete in a year and replaced entirely by natural language interfaces that can create rapid design iteration in real, usable code. I hope Figma is working on this themselves, otherwise I can't imagine why anyone would keep using. Am I missing something?

All these new design tools have one thing in common… Figma.

@useflowkit wondering if you’ve heard anything about flowkit not working? Just getting a spinning loader when I try to open it up. Tried to uninstall and install but still no good. Closed figma and opened it up again but no dice either. Thoughts? 🙏🏽
