when I met him 7 years ago, I was sure his company had at least 60 people on board. But in the office, there were only him and one guy, Peter.
I was like, “where are the others?!?!” and he showed me the tooling he used to manage his products. It's hard to describe, but it was a mix of extreme engineering, no-code automations at a level people still haven't reached today, and a level of focus I called "monk mode".

ChatGPT told @greg_rog not to build his company. "Don't do it bro. Too much competition. Squarespace, Wix, Mailchimp. You want to compete with all of them at once? Impossible." He built it anyway because he needed it himself. 4 years later: 1000+ creators, $200M processed, 1M+ transactions. Sometimes the best signal is that you can't stop thinking about the problem.
