I will never understand why working class people defend politicians demanding higher taxes on billionaires when the real problem isn’t a lack of revenue… it’s the fraud, waste, and abuse politicians refuse to stop.

Hasan Piker has a massive platform - with over 11.3 million followers - and he's used it to normalize and amplify extremist rhetoric. The prominent Twitch streamer has explicitly expressed support for U.S.-designated terrorist organizations, including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and the PFLP. Piker recently said, "I would vote for Hamas over Israel every single time" and he's called Hezbollah's flag his "favorite." On multiple occasions, he's used the dehumanizing terms "inbred" and "psychopath" to refer to Israeli and Orthodox Jews. He's also used rhetoric that trivializes the Holocaust, including by insinuating that Anne Frank would have supported the Houthis and equating Israel with Nazi Germany. Jews are not alone on the receiving end of Piker's vile rhetoric. On his livestreams, Piker has made misogynistic jokes about date rape and responded to Black critics with vulgar sexual insults. Piker amplifies this pattern of hate to millions of followers. His growing involvement in electoral politics and mainstream media spreads these toxic messages far beyond fringe spaces.

I’m just going to state a fact. I’m not arguing for or against anything in this post. If you want to destroy the United States as it exists today (possibly with another Civil War), this is a sure fire way.

Because 4.4% was wrong- it’s 9.5%, still dramatically lower than Chinas- which btw only counts urban centers and not rural areas, which would make it dramatically higher.
But id rather own being wrong when I am- people could learn the lesson.

Communism isn’t ‘the will of the people,’ it’s the centralization of power in the name of the people.
It asks individuals to give up their judgment, property, and independence, then hands that authority to a small group to decide how everyone else should live.
Once that happens, it doesn’t serve ‘the community.’
It serves whoever controls the system, with the power to enforce it.

Here’s a 5.9M condo in Manhattan. It’ll be bought by someone Mamdani/Hochul claim isn’t paying their “fair share”. They’ll pay a $132,000 mansion tax at closing. And then pay $5200 a month in property taxes. Mamdani and Hochul will now add another tax to this bill.
